Insurances are up due to the increased amount of fraudulent claims and higher personal injury
Shit. Mine's up for renewel in a couple of months, and I'm already paying £93 a month.
Not this year. I think car ins premiums are up about 30% this year.
£93 a month ! That's shocking. Mine is £168 a year. I was only paying about £230 for a group 17 car a couple of years ago.
Mind you, I'm old and knackered, which helps.

Insurance has also increased due to the insurance companies being greedy twats
A couple of years ago I bought a modern car...(after the pretty serious winter I had trying to get my old girl to start)....given that I've forked out £190 to tax, £100 to MOT and £240 to insure last month, my car is now on the market.
Ridiculous - I'm going back to my classic cars - should never have changed!
I'm seriously tempted to buy a classic, saw a MkI Escort on the road the other day and it was beautiful. still for my 1.3l toyota I should not be paying what my new quote is....bloody ridiculous!
The ins companies can sort this out (if they want to) or pass the "costs" to the punters.....
