[Albion] Matt Clarke- Portsmouth defender **SIGNED and LOANED to DERBY**

Think there is a good player in there if he can cut out the errors. Feel sorry for any other CBs as they are always going to find it hard to oust Dunk or Duffy. Would suit a 3 at the back imo so may get a chance next season.

[Misc] Do you feel sorry for Theresa May

The ONLY vote was to leave the EU. May's deal was leaving the EU as much as a no deal. There was no question n the ballot as to HOW we leave.

I have heard the same thing from someone who has links with him from his Ipswich days

He was largely responsible for the only goal we conceded. .

    [Politics] Next Prime Minister

Probably won't happen but I would really like to see a real rise in parties away from Labour/Conservatives. I don't think the 2 party system we effectively have is good for the country (especially when they are likely to be led into a GE with Corbyn and Johnson in charge)

What - a horrible racist? (see post 98)

Under Rogers I can see Leicester being top 6 this season. If Maguire does move on Dunk might also look at how his career has progressed at Leicester and see them as a stepping stone to an even bigger club. Sadly I can see this happening.

I didn't realise there had already been another referendum asking people if they would prefer a soft or hard brexit

My wife and I are both teachers and sadly what you have written is all too familiar in schools now - It has been getting worse and worse under this government. We were both in almost identical situations to your partner a couple of years ago. I wish your partner nothing but the best.

[Football] Meanwhile Where Is Mr Hughton?

100% this. I can understand fans wanting him to be sacked (but hugely disagree) but the constant snide comments about Hughton are making me feel really ashamed to be a Brighton fan at the moment. Some of our "fans" need to learn what respect is. Already a lot of people re-writing history (for...

[Albion] Graham Potter joins on four-year deal

Re-writing history - he started every game until Leicester on 26th Feb scoring no goals after the Everton game and really not playing well. If he thinks that's no reason he needs to have a look at himself.

    [Albion] Retained List

They had been in talks over a new contract for all of this season. Could hardly withdraw the offer just in case Hughton got sacked. If Potter doesn't want him I'm sure he could be sold but decent back up for Bernado imho

[Albion] Graham Potter joins on four-year deal

But there is nothing to say we would have continued to play so badly. We might have or we might have signed different players and played better. Wolves may have gone down but Watford this year had an amazing season after sticking with a manager most fans wanted out after a terrible run at the...

    [Football] Football and mental health

Stunned by the ignorance of one or two on here (but the attitude of most is encouraging). I have a good job, decent pay, a nice house and a loving family. Despite that I have had periods where I have been in tears and not known how I would make it to the next day. One of the worst things is...

[Albion] Graham Potter joins on four-year deal

Still think we shouldn't have sacked Hughton and still think we will pay for it and get relegated BUT I hope I am wrong and Potter brings exciting and successful football to the club

[Albion] Sacking Hughton and racial implications

Nuno is now the only BAME manager in the Premier League. I think (haven't checked so may be wrong) that Curle, Powell, Moore and obviously Hughton are not currently employed.

[Albion] Sacking Hughton and racial implications

100% agree. I do not want to see managers appointed due to colour at all. However given the the % of BAME managers is so low compared to the % of BAME players I believe that if managers are appointed on merit alone there should be more BAME managers overall. Hopefully there will be in the future.

[Albion] Sacking Hughton and racial implications

Again because you cannot seem to read - I DID NOT AT ANY TIME SAID BRIGHTON OR WEST BROM SACKED THEIR MANAGERS BECAUSE OF COLOUR. What I have said and which you seem to constantly deny is that a reduction of BAME managers in the Premier league and a reduction f working BAME managers overall is a...
