Let’s see how they get on in preferred positions and different instructions

I honestly think GP can get something out of this mob

Ok.

1992 - 2019.

You can quote years to me if you like

But if you want the team to lose you ARE NOT a Brighton fan.

You can dress it up if you like with “Sacking Hughton was a disgrace” or something like that but anyone who wants the manager who hasn’t even started yet to fail and the team to lose isn’t a fan.

Ok.

It's a very odd attitude unless you are trolling. Club sacks manager after a nice chunky 4 and half years, who leaves with his head held high, the club's eternal thanks and a nice hefty pay off. Hardly a revolutionary state of affairs. I'm willing to bet CH has taken it better than you have - all part of the job.

Still think we shouldn't have sacked Hughton and still think we will pay for it and get relegated BUT I hope I am wrong and Potter brings exciting and successful football to the club

Right attitude imo. I wanted CH out but I would never have wanted him to fail if he’d stayed. In fact most outers were convinced he’d be staying and accepted it.

Hughton certain relegation next season with turgid defensive football .

Potter is a gamble but less than keeping Hughton

My take too, his tactics had been worked out by every Premier League manager, and he only had plan A to work with. Even the players weren’t convinced in the end apparently and there lies a big problem.

GP would be a really exciting appointment (if it happens). A really modern manager who has proved what he can do the hard way. He could be Brighton’s Eddie Howe. Just hope he’s given sufficient time to establish his methods and tactics. We could see quite a few youngsters coming through too. Exciting times.
For a second there I read GP as Gus Poyet...

Using Poyet's impact on our playing style-it didn't take long for our bunch of cloggers to learn passing and possession. Potter has a much better group of players to work with-including shed loads in the U23s and farmed out on loan.

Maybe we can now all enjoy watching The Albion again? I know that I will.
