Don't necessarily disagree with any of that.
I do feel CH was let down by not being given an alternative to Gross.
In terms of moving on I have said several times that I will be 100% behind Potter BUT that does not mean I will not comment when people criticise one of the best (the best in my...
I suspect (may be completely wrong) that he may have feared the sack after Cardiff. I thought he might get sacked then.
After Cardiff however he turned things around, performances and results got better and we survived.
It may have surprised him (like it did me) that having seemingly turned the...
Goon. Moron.
Are you going to keep on throwing insults at people who dare to have a different opinion to you?
You said "Chris didn't deliver Premier League survival" then say "we survived, yes, everyone knows that". Therefore as Chris Hughton was in charge he absolutely delivered Premier...
I think otherwise because CH (as far as I am aware) has never been relegated from the Premier League.
We were awful since Jan BUT this was when we changed formation. The 4411 worked first half of the season and again at the very end of the season when we went back to it.
I felt he had...
So your saying last season we played a back 6? Simply not true.
The wingers were asked to track back (possibly too much - but that's a different argument) but no wingers started as fullbacks
Yes he did. Stop trying to re-write history.
You may not like HOW he did it but we did not get relegated. He delivered Premier League survival - that is a FACT.
Which players were out of position under Hughton? - seen this thrown around a lot on NSC but no players played in positions that they hadn't played in regularly before at other clubs.
100% agree
If anyone has not seen the game Tau absolutely bossed it. His first touch, movement and work rate were all first class. He was the best player on the pitch and made Salah look like a non league player in comparison.
On this evidence (and I accept it was only one game) he would walk...
I disagree with the Hughton sacking as much as anyone but I do not see anything in this sacking different to pretty much every other football manager sacking.
He would have had his pay off in line with employment law. We would have heard otherwise if this was not the case.
Staying up is safety. The points at the beginning of the season count just as much as the points at the end.
Can understand why you wanted CH gone BUT to claim he didn't achieve safety is simply factually wrong.
