What the hell are you on about??
Are you going to count Paul Ince and John Barnes and claim they should be counted in BAME representation because they have managed in the past? Of course when looking at BAME representation in the league you only look at those employed.
And to answer your...
Fully agree and I have never defended KIO's tweets or their actions over this.
However I still believe that the fact their are now less BAME managers in the Premier League (and in lower leagues) is a real blow to BAME representation.
Think you need to go back and read what I have said in my posts.
I fully agreed from my first post on this topic that the sacking of CH had nothing to do with race. I have NEVER suggested it was
However it is undoubtedly a blow to BAME representation. This is what Naylor tweeted (see original...
He is not (currently) employed as a football manager. Therefore BAME representation in management in England has been reduced.
BAME representation in the Premier League has also been reduced.
If you can't see that having less BAME managers managing is a blow to BAME representation than quite...
Agree. But even if he does get the WBA job do you not think the fact BAME managers would have fallen from 4 to 3 (and only 1 in the top division) is a blow to representation?
(Naylor's tweet which I was originally talking about was simply pointing this out and I think his tweet is very different...
When you start the season with 4 BAME managers and by the end of the season it s down to 2 of course that is a blow to BAME representation.
Losing 50% of Premier League BAME managers is also a blow to BAME representation.
That's not to say the managers should not have been sacked (they were...
Maybe, maybe not but it is clear he wasn't expecting this in the immediate aftermath of Man City.
100% wrong to allow a gent like CH to be interviewed on the pitch about next season when the chairman had already decided he was going.
Should have been done before the game (preferably by mutual...
That's where we will have to agree to disagree.
Firstly I didn't find it that shocking (Feb onwards mostly but not before for me)
Secondly I would far rather we stay up and build than go down. I'm pretty sure TB would rather that too.
Disagree entirely - Loads of games we showed attacking intent. Burnley home for example - battered them to start with with Heaton having a world class showing in goal. Even if we pick our worst performance of the season (Cardiff at home) we started with attacking intent.
Not saying everything...
Really enjoyed it but I do think the whole series has been far too rushed.
Why only 6 episodes? Could have easily been 10 episodes (if not more) so far
Was 10 at the end of the season as we had stayed up and was looking forward to what would happen over summer in preparation for a new season.
Down to a 2 now - probably the lowest my Albion mojo has been since leaving Priestfield.
For the first time in a very long time I don't feel proud of the...
No of course not but I also don't think the WHOLE season was as bad as some have made out.
We went through a poor run but survived.
Looking at the first season and a half in the Premier League I think CH found the middle ground you talk about perfectly.
Think it is very much the wrong decision and fear we will regret it.
Playing expansive football means nothing if we get relegated.
Having said that I think it's important that everyone, whatever they thought of Hughton, gets together and supports the new manager.
