[Football] At the moment, Graham Potter is too good for Brighton. He needs better players.

Unfortunately £20 million will not buy a PL striker. It will by a striker who MAY score goes in the PL but if you are looking to buy anybody who has recently scored a good number of goals in the PL expect to pay £50million plus and £120k a week plus. IF we did want to sell Maupay clubs would...

    [Albion] Why can't Percy.....

We have had a bit of a look at Tau. He looked promising in one game but from what I recall he has yet to get any effort for goal on target. We already have enough trickery in the side. We need a finisher.

[Football] FINAL 12 GAMES - How do you think we will do?

The home and away element has largely disappeared with the absence of crowds. It is more how we play rather that who we play. Our team has become more technical rather than physical and we have a chance in most games. It is down to us.

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Overall he is the best we have got so we have to work with him. He has been decent for what we paid for him. Anybody who impresses at PL level as a striker will just not be available, at least for us to buy. PL teams do not sell goalscoring strikers. He looks much better when he has a...

[Albion] Are we still worrying about WBA, Sheff Utd and Fulham's results?

On paper yes but they went to Everton and won 2 0. They have all to play for and have a decent chance of staying up.

[Football] So who is going down with WBA and Sheff Utd

Fulham to go down. Bruce is very experienced and I expect Newcastle to put together enough points winning 'performances' to be safe. Our next two games are particularly important and we need at least 3 points from them.

[Albion] Are we still worrying about WBA, Sheff Utd and Fulham's results?

Yes. Chances are that it will be a draw and continuing to leave us near the edge where we have been for most of the season !

[Albion] Are we still worrying about WBA, Sheff Utd and Fulham's results?

It is not a case of worrying. There are plenty of points to play for. However we are not safe yet, the job is not done. We need to keep our form, keep picking up points and we will be ok. You can still get 20 to 1 on us going down.

[Football] A classic match at the Amex , Brighton 6 Blackpool 1. A reminder what we are missing

What is apparent is the amount of time and space Blackpool gave us on the day. Just not there in the PL whoever is playing.

    [Football] Burnley vs Fulham

We are on a good run at the moment but whilst we can be optimistic let's be realistic. It is best if Fulham lose and let's see if we can outpoint the Burnley's, the Newcastle's and the Palace's for the rest of the season. We do not need Fulham's help, let them stay where they are !!

[Football] Would you like to see Graham Potter as the next England manager?

I think he likes the everyday coaching, being with the players and moulding them to a style of play. He would not like the media duties of an England manager and from what I can glean, does not have a sufficiently thick skin to take all the inevitable criticism that comes with the job. Whilst...

[Albion] Zeqiri *Season-long loan to FC Augsburg*

He is enthusiastic and looks to get a shot off early. He is a threat and could end up as anything. On what I see at the moment I envisage him a success and a good goal scorer in Division 1. Hopefully he will improve. It will be great if he does well because personality and style wise he...

[Albion] The Albion transfers that never happened.

Was Mullery not interested in Tony Gale at one time ? I recall him speaking that he would like to sign him.

[Albion] GP: I think that anyone who criticises someone like Dan Burn doesn't understand football.

I think Dan Burn has been fairly treated on this board. Nobody is beyond criticism. Reasonable criticism motivates.

    [Albion] A point against Burnley

After the last couple of games and the effort we needed to put in a point would be a great result. It will keep the run going and maintain confidence. Burnley will present a completely different challenge to recent games and will not be for the faint hearted. They will be well up for putting...

    [Albion] ** Liverpool v BHA ** - Score Predictor - Now in its 10th SEASON !!

Important we score as it will help the confidence of the front men. I expect Liverpool to score more though, so am going for 3 1 to them.

[Albion] Player ratings vs Tottenham (h)

Yes I think Maupay has been underscored on here. Up front is the toughest place to play and he did very well.

[Albion] No fence - good performance or not?

Finishing is the most difficult part of the game and we did not finish so did not play well. We had one striker on the pitch at the start and he was the only striker on the pitch at the finish. Pretty at times but ineffective.

[Albion] Pre match thoughts on Potter’s team selection for tonight ( vote once announced obviously)

Well no tinkering for a change. Obviously lightweight up front but let's hope midfield can hit the target.

[Albion] Who do you think he is the player of the season so far?

Yes I think Lamptey has definitely been targetted by the opposition and receives a lot of physical attention.
