Nice idea, doubt if he has enough baggage to come to little old Brighton. I suggest he will have attractive financial offers from elsewhere which we will not want to match.
This is nicely set out. I do not think a central midfield of Moder and Gross is good enough to be honest. I would hope Lallana starts a fair bit. If Biss does go perhaps there will be a role for Davy Propper.
I think it is the media who are more interested than Spurs and it is they who are trying to build a story for or against. Whilst the play in the first half did the club credit to have two players sent off in the second half is a poor advert for club discipline and common sense, particularly as...
There is a problem for GP here in that his strikers do not score (enough) and I am not sure there is an easy solution to that.
Any Spurs he would be under much more scrutiny and if things do not go (very) well there would be plenty of criticism. Much more than at 'little' Brighton. I am not...
I doubt if he will get the Tottenham job but perhaps more interestingly if Rodgers were to get it (and I see he is the bookies favourite) would he get a job at Leicester ? Now that to my mind is entirely possible.
I think an issue may be that we will want around £50 million whilst his suitors will only want to pay £30 million. I am unsure as to whether there is an agreement there.
He tackles excellently and distributes well but he is not so strong at creating chances or scoring. This will likely dampen...
I think it is just a bit closer than the table looks. Fulham play Newcastle on the last day and assuming Newcastle are safe I think we should expect Fulham to get three points there. Thus we definitely are in danger and need more points. Chances are we will stay up of course but it is not all...
Managers, squads and playing style are polar opposites. Too much either way if you ask me. One needs a bit of both. How about Hodgson managing and GP coaching. A dream team. I reckon they could get on.
I think the playing part now is or should be over. I would imagine he is financially secure and so has no need of the modest pickings in Leagues 1 and 2. I believe his 'playtime' should be for the fun of it, in a league much lower. His ship has sailed.
Point is last night he was playing against championship (to be) players and I see him as being a decent bench option at that level.
Nobody is going to anywhere near match the wage we pay him, so he is with us until near the end of the last year of his contract when he will move on.
He is...
Yes for sure.
Of course I may well be proved wrong but I think we will be looking to be tight at Sheff United and certainly not lose the point we start with. Our record against the lower sides (excepting Newcastle) is pretty dire. Whilst many thought Fulham were the side to watch it is...
Staying up is paramount and that means everything. If we go down the wheels will come off. OK we could well come back up straight away and then face what ? real struggle because we will not be strengthening in the Championship. Potter's job is now to get the team motivated and winning...
I believe GP thrives in coaching and improving players. I am not sure he is the one to deal with the egos and work with players who have already got to the top. I am not sure he would enjoy a job with a top 6 club. He is unlikely to leave for one.
