Stop worrying, we’re fine.

More likely to finish top half than go down.

This.

We’ve conceded 1 goal in the last six games and are 4th in the 6 game form table.

There are 3 teams that look absolute shite in Newcastle, Palace & Southampton and Burnley should be looking over their shoulder too after an awful performance today.

We probably need 4 wins to finish above a Fulham surge. We could have those by the end of March.

Yes agree about those 4 but Fulham are also still 4 points and GD behind us, we’ve got a game in hand and have a look at Fulham’s run of 8 games after Palace - Spurs, Liverpool, City, Leeds, Villa, Wolves, Arsenal, Chelsea. They don’t win many games at all anyway and they’re highly unlikely to get many, if any, wins from those games either.

We should be looking at getting our highest finish, not worrying about going down.

It’s interesting that the mainstream angle is “Newcastle will be worried now”, yet they’re only a point below us.

It is not a case of worrying. There are plenty of points to play for. However we are not safe yet, the job is not done. We need to keep our form, keep picking up points and we will be ok. You can still get 20 to 1 on us going down.

That's because Fulham play Newcastle on the last day.

If Fulham are within 3 points by then, game on.

Four points from being in bottom three. But also four points from being 13th.

Come Monday night it will be 7 and 1.

Just looked it up. Apparently 3 points for a win and 1 from a draw. Collect more points than other teams and win cash prizes. Lowest 3 after all matches played have to leave the game. Top 6 get special rewards. There are two cup comptitions as well. For the very successful, trree cup competitions.

We need to win 4 out of 14 games, very doable but not guaranteed. I’m not worried but not lighting cigars yet either.

2 wins and 3 draws to get us to 35 points will be plenty this season IMO. That should be very doable.

Newcastle in 17th with lower points, worse GD and still having to play Fulham on the last day will cause concern for the Geordies.
I'm sure your fears are shared by other Brighton and Burnley fans.
Tomorrows game at Old Trafford and Monday night now carry a little more gravity.

Monday night is massive for us, win and I think Fulham have too much to do to overtake us. Follow victory with another win against West Brom and we can genuinely start looking upwards as we're pretty much safe.

If we lose both games things will be looking grim again.

Fulham might have perked up but Sheff U who need 24 points from 13 games and WBA who need 21 must now be gone (to get to 35) - so it’s just one left. - Fulham

We , realistically could be on 32 points with 12 to go anyway given the next two.

To go down from here we’d have to now go on a run of only 3 wins or fewer from the last 14. Or 2 wins and 3 draws or fewer.

Fulham still need 4-5 more wins from somewhere. And Newcastle, Burnley have to do better than us as well.
