I agree with Gus on this. I honestly and truely belief, if we had a throughly fit Vicente from the start and maybe the addition of Abdul Razzak earlier on in the season. We would of been fighting for Automatic Promotion right now, or even better top of the league. But if you said to me 4th in...
26 years your having a laugh. Crumbling ground, mid-table fodder and Group on doesn't really exist or may not even work?! Woke up yesterday morning, with bunch of jealous Palarse wankers influxing my Retweets on Twitter and a DM from Mark Bright. Jealous much?
I still don't rate Jason Roberts, I honestly think he is just an poor man Emile Heskey. Most of his goals he scores are scuffed shots or just infront of goal like two or three yards out. There nothing to his game whatsoever.
When Alan first came here, he was overweight and he wasn't the type of player we needed. But since Gus has taken charge, he has been superb. The injury against Northampton, didn't help very much. But since then, he gone from strength to strength.
Yes I know they are constantly saying he is THE greatest player in the world. But in my eyes, if he doesn't win a World Cup in his career. Then you can't put him up there with the likes of Pele or Maradona. Which I've said before.....
Hopefully we can keep him for another season. Because we're finally seeing what a World Class act the guy really is. We've seen glimpses of it, but now we're getting the best out of him.
