Wouldn't it be funny if, just by coincidence it hit an iceberg on its maiden voyage and sank.:lol:

I gave it a go, but was a bit perplexed when just over half an hour into a 4 hour jobbie we met the iceberg already. Suppose we'll have to see how this different stories malarky plays out, at least its a slightly different spin on it.

The main reason I tuned in was because its got Jenna-Louise Coleman in it (playing a maid or somesuch).

She'd get it. Oh boy, would she get it.

As my son pointed out even in the film it spent a few minutes about Titanic and the rest of the time showing how people did or didn't get into a lifeboat depending on their status

From the title of the thread i thought that a certain Moderator Titanic had branched out and gained a lucrative ITV deal for a moment :lolol:

Not really it was two and a half hours into the film before that scene.

Titanic in 3D at your local multiplex from 6/4. Should push the film past the $ 2 000 000 000 takings mark.

Why didn't ITV just show the bloody film. From the trailers I saw they looked two of the same thing. Only in the film we get to see Kate's tits...I assume it was crap last night, did not watch it.

I am one of the few people who still regard the film as a very good work. I am sure it will be on again in due course.

Films like Titanic are not really my cup of tea.

One Night on BBC1 at 10.35pm tonight sounds quite good if a bit creepy. It's a drama on for an hour each day this week (excluding Thursday).
