E-Cash Top Up - Why don't people use it more?

Yeah, I use it everytime and it works a treat. I don't know why you wouldn't do it - i've probably had about £30-35 back so far this season If you top it up with a cash-back credit card, its even better value!

    Lewes Road re-vamp

I think my point is that there's plenty of examples of places around the town where costly projects haven't provided any benefits to road users regardless of their mode of transport - Elm Grove being one of them Using the current situation as evidence that this scheme needs to happen is leaving...

    Lewes Road re-vamp

Lewes Road was alright until about 7/8 years ago when the existing cycle lanes were put in, kerbs built out, extra crossings and a load of work carried out at the bottom of Elm Grove. Its not been the same since so they're coming back to basically tamper with what they messed up first time...

    The Brighton Centre

It's tired and needs replacing rather than the tarting-up it recently received. The Amex must have taken a fair bit of its (smaller) conference trade

Plenty of good running above. My training has become a shambles over the last few weeks I did 20 miles on the 23rd Feb and felt good - then, I missed a long run because I was tired and then crashed & burned on the 9th March going for another 20 miler. I did one of my shoes up too tight and at...

Sussex University bid to build new halls of residence

I've always thought this fully exposes Falmer Parish Council's Nimbyism The Amex site was an unloved field waiting to be engulfed by something - the Uni's, Retail, something else. As it was, that something else was the stadium - a one in a lifetime building that is turning out to be a huge...

    Harrys English Restaurant - Hove

Maybe the owners decided they'd had enough and rather than sell the business, wanted to simply draw a line under Harry's A crap analogy but a bit like a sportsman wanting to retire at the top (or near it) of their game so that there reputation doesn't get tarnished by their dwindeling latter...

I go over for the Spring Classics quite a lot - you can leave Brighton at, say 5:30, go over via the tunnel and be where you need to be (Paris - Roubaix, Flanders etc) by 10am ish Last couple of years they've been getting really, really busy though which is why they've changed the Tour of...

    1901 Club cost cutting

Yeah, the 1901's should count themselves lucky - in WSU last night I got a cheese burger in a bag. Somewhere along the line this bag did not remain horizontal so I had a sticky mess of bits & bobs at the bottom of the bag and had to re-construct the bun / burger / fillings. It was still nice...
