I really think you should separate your belief in God and homeopathy. Whilst I think you are wrong about God, I know you are wrong about homeopathy. Believe it works if you like, but it amounts to the same thing as me not believing in gravity.
Why is it trolling for the Palace to suggest that they're going to sing homophobic songs en masse?
Be our guests! If you want to sing racist tunes as well, then go ahead. If you want to invade the pitch a few times as well, feel free. And you'd be welcome to throw missiles on the pitch too...
I agree with Hungry Joe. I think many of the criticisms of him are valid, but he's clearly very talented and has some attributes that few other of our players have. He does need nurturing adn those saying we can't afford to do that are talking nonsense. He's the kind of player that you build a...
More interesting than the reduction itself is the FA's decision to appeal in the first place. As the disciplinary body of football in our country they've pretty much guaranteed that there is now no such thing as a frivolous appeal against a red card and in fact there's now a real precedent for...
I think Germany would beat us 9 times out of 10. I think they might win the whole tournament, their team is immense. As for Italy, France and Portugal I reckon they would beat us at least 7 times out of 10.
I'm not even sure that in a major tournament (and that's the key context) we would beat...
As per others on this thread I totally diagree with the OP, however what really interests me is this prevailing desire to see people do badly. My view, for what it's worth, is that a teacher is not paid enough unless they are on at LEAST £45k a year. Who cares if it's better than other people in...
Ok, so you think economic stories in the public interest should NOT be reported on for fear that they could affect the market negatively? Couldn't we use that argument for, say, reporting on corruption in the press?
Peston's journalism has been a high point of the profession over the last few...
The accusations are nonsense though, they're from financial organisations looking for someone other than themselves to blame. Reckless and incompetent management caused NR to collapse, not someone pointing out their folly. What these organisations want of course is no-one to say anything bad...
I agree with this. However, some chanting is blatantly homophobic 'just a town full of faggots' being one and there obvious cases where individual fans use similarly offensive language before, during and after the game. These are what needs to be acted upon.
Seriously, if you can't tell the difference between calling the ref a wanker and chanting homophobic abuse then there's really no hope for you.
No-one's saying that football should be watched in silence or that we have to be unflailing polite about everyone, what some people are saying is that...
