What is the justification for saying that a person born on this planet of ours should be restricted in where they can travel.
I can think of many economic arguments but very few, if any, moral ones.
All that is true BUT it was Crystal Palace FC who defaulted on their debts NOT the fans, in fact quite the opposite.
Using the defaults to club the fans with is neither fair nor reasonable. - IMO :)
Never understand this constant reference to the fabulous St John Ambulance organisation.
Say what you like about the Palace fans they did at least make sure that SJA didn’t end up losers after Palace went into administration. This included help from many of our fans as well - something to be...
Why should a season ticket holder who attends the same number of home games as someone buying on a game by game basis and only goes to a few, if any, away games have priority over the non-STH who attends as many away games as possible?
Why should a fan who only attends but a few home games gain...
Ok - complicated might be a bit of a hyperbole but the scheme is in my opinion more complex than it needs to be.
I don’t see the necessity to have two sets of points - one for STHs and one for ‘members’ who are treated like second class fans when it comes to qualifying to buy an away ticket...
Whether they get 50 points now or later doesn’t make any difference - the all season ticket holder tier is higher than the member tier.
Suppose I don’t renew my ST next year - I will drop from the top tier to below a brand new STH who may only have ever been to a handful of games. I’d still be...
A new season ticket holder is immediately one tier above those who only buy tickets on a match by match basis. The Liverpool match for example - if I hadn’t renewed my ST then I wouldn’t have been able to buy a ticket until yesterday whereas a brand new STH with just 50 points could have bought...
That’s not necessarily the case though and in any case those who went to away games only wouldn’t have more points than a season ticket holder. If they went to all the away games and no home games then they would only have the same points as someone who went to all the home games, (STH), and no...
I’m sure there must be a flaw in the following suggestion:-
Why have a separate points system for season ticket holders. Just award the loyalty points for home and away games as in the current system and halve the carry over points as is done at the moment.
Points to be added after each game...
That’s pseudological reasoning - the outcome of a negotiation does not mean that the negotiations did not take place nor that they ignored the wishes of those hoping for a better outcome.
The hopes and wishes of those who voted leave may never be met, that does not mean that the vote wasn’t for...
Every government since we joined the Common Market has tried, (some more successfully than others), to renegotiate our terms of membership - I guess the answer to your question therefore has to be a resounding ‘yes’.
I don’t think you can call the foodstuff coming from the US as sub-standard - what can legitimately be said though is that their standard of animal welfare is sub European standard, many of their animals are treated with chemical hormones and much of their agricultural product is genetically...
