I think they're saying 'can you see what they're doing? Send them off!'
I assume it's a child saying it. The poor kids just learnt about the impotent fury of having your footballing dreams come crashing down around you. That feeling and those players celebrating right in front of him will...
I wonder if this is the first time we've seen this side of Sanchez because he's not played in front of fans before or if, because he's been with us from the age of 15, he's grown up playing palace at youth levels and had it indoctrinated into him that they're a bunchy of nobby bellends?
Either...
Well, if you're not going to win to go top of the league the next best thing is to steal a draw with a 95th minute equaliser and then wind the entire palace team and fans up. Lovely.
We weren't great but I think the draw was pretty much fair. We never had control of the game(Bissouma was a...
I find the red bull/mercedes debate really interesting. The red bull has been designed for Max and in his hands it's the fastest car on the track. Lewis is battling manfully in an inferior car but I think it's only inferior to Max's red bull, not Perez's.
I had the same view as you about...
A point gets us nothing. We stay above them as we will if we lose. It just means it's another game without beating them. But a win...a win would be magnificent! You cannot turn down the opportunity to go top of the league by beating palace at selhurst. That positive far outweighs the...
100 race wins is obviously an incredible achievement but I wonder if Lewis would have preferred no rain. He would have finished second and so still be stuck on 99 wins but Verstappen was in sixth or seventh so the points gap in the title race would have been bigger.
The way I see it is like this:
Worst case scenario: We lose. We're still above palace. In fact we could lose the following week as well and still be above them.
Best Case Scenario: On live TV, in front of the watching world we beat Palace, on Zaha's 400th appearance(I think), in their back...
Great performance form Usyk.
The fans are the biggest losers here. Itlooks like we'll never get the Fury Joshua fight now and if we do it'll be a shadow of what it could/should have been. It would have been one of the biggest sporting events in British history.:(
Nice to wake up to YET ANOTHER win for the Albion.
A bit surprised* to see the match thread has descended into another debate on Connolly and the relative ability as a manager of Solksjaer.
For those that went to the game how did we play. The highlights made it look like Swansea could...
I know I'm a few days late but this popped up in my youtube feed. I was too young to know him as a player, I only knew him through Saint and Greavsie. Loved the show, an integral part of my footballing Saturdays as a kid. And this is from Italia 90. THE World Cup for the 10 year old me.
It should be quite a strong team as there are a number of players who need minutes.
Burn, Lamptey, Alzate, Mwepu, Gross, Moder, Ally Mac, Connolly could all do with some game time.
I'll go with:
Steele/Sherpen
Lamptey
Tsongui
Roberts
Burn
Moder
Mwepu
Gross
Alzate
Connolly
Ally Mac
If...
With the sporadic nature of international breaks and thus the limited time working with the players that the manager gets I'm not sure the two highlighted sentences go together.
That said I would love to see how his club management would translate to the international stage. Not for a few more...
