The miners strikes and the bombing of the grand, I reckon. Although I don't remember much more than seeing the images on TV.
I'm guessing the IRA bombing The Grand covers all three slots of Local, National and International.
When has that ever happened at Brighton? In any division?
Sounds a lot like all those people who were convinced we weren't going to get promoted in 2016/17 because it was typical Brighton to blow a 10 point lead even though that had never happened either.
This thread is a little example of how group think can sway an individual.
I've never seen Edouard play. At the start of the thread I'm pretty sure that everyone was pretty keen on signing him so my thought was 'he's probably a decent player, I'm in!'. But as the threads gone on more and more...
Indeed. He just arrived on our doorstep unannounced.
Every player deserves a mini saga. Cryptic Instagram posts or twitter photos dissected. Flights tracked, photos taken. It adds excitement and anticipation and makes that player LOVED upon arrival as we've studied him in detail.

Quite interesting seeing who is still playing and where.
I think this has been done before but I couldn't find the thread so have decided to start a new one.
I've just found out that A.C Milan is spelt Milan and not Milano in honour of its English origins(it was started by two English ex-pats).
I never knew that. Or even wondered about the...
I think it's got to be David Bowie at Glastonbury in 2000. I'm not a big Bowie fan but it was the opportunity to see an absolute legend live. All my mates went. Me? I went to see Morcheeba.
I would have loved to have seen Nirvana live but Kurt died a few months before my 14th...
I think it's fair to say that unlike last season we got exactly what we deserved today. That was men against boys. Everton looked sharper, faster, stronger and better organised than us.
We were poor for sure but had no idea how to a) break Everton down or b) stop them when they had the...
