I think an overlooked negative is that we've won almost half of our allotted 9 league wins a season in our first five games.
That means only five more wins in our remaining 33 games.:(
Bloody hell.
Bloody ****ing hell.
Everything that went against us last season is going for us this one. Especially today. We got battered in that final 30 minutes, dug in, rode our luck and **** me if we're not in the top four, one point off first.
It felt like we didn't touch the ball in the first ten minutes but after that a very good performance. I'm really enjoying Trossard playing centrally, it allows him to really influence the game.
I'm a little concerned that a) Biss could be injured, b) Veltmans on a needless booking and c) we...
Brentford look much better against Wolves than they did against us. Against us they ran around like loons, flew into tackles and tried to make it a 100mph game. Today they look much calmer and more composed and subsequently like a much better football team.
My immediate response is YES!
That would be followed over the next days/weeks by a growing fear that with 'my luck' it'd all go wrong and that 1 in 270 chance of something going wrong would turn out to actually be 100%. So I'd probably then quit and not go.
And then regret it.
So I'm not...
I say take the money and enjoy the mild thrill of seeing your house on TV.
You could also ask for a role as an extra? Or just stand starkers in front of your window and hope they don't spot it in post production. You'd be famous for eternity...
It did happen in the Netherlands so you're probably right, it was almost definitely carried out at Max's behest. He just doesn't know where to draw the line:nono:

Nothing to do with Lewis or Max...just an F1 fan being arrested at gun point after being mistaken for a Mafia boss.
What are the actual qualification rules for the tournament. Can any BHA U23 play or do they have to be registered as a U-23. Can we chuck in Lamptey, Moder, Cucurella, Scherpen, Alzate, Connolly and any other first team player that is U23?
I've not seen it. Is it supposed to be based on Agincourt? If it is, so long as it depicts us giving them a good whooping I don't mind too much about accuracy!
It might be worth knowing about William Caxton who brought the printing press, his translations into English and his affect on the standardisation of the English Language.

This is exactly the kind of thread this place has been missing for years.
Some stuff that may or may not be of use and of varying importance.

I think Hamilton was trying to reverse out from under Max so that would let him know that Lewis was ok.
I'm just shocked at how close Hamilton came to dying yet was able to try and reverse out and when he couldn't jumped out and walked off. I guess I shouldn't be so shocked after the...
