I know this has probably been said elsewhere, but I was wondering if anybody could recommend a decent pub in leyton that will be away friendly and have sky so can watch the merseyside derby before our game.
Genuinely shocked to hear this news, and its really bad timing. If we aren't offering him at least another year then I think its a big mistake. If it was just Forster putting in a request it would suggest he's trying to get the club to pull their finger out. However, as it says it was a mutual...
Just woken up in hertfordshire to see an inch of snow on the ground. Is there any around Brighton/Withdean way? Wouldn't want to travel all that way to have the match postponed or something.
I'd play Hoyte on saturday. I know a lot of people on here don't rate him that much, but I think his pace would be invaluable if Villa play Agbonlahor and/or Ashley Young. Otherwise we are going to have sod all pace at the back and those two will have a field day.
why not give hoyte a go on the right wing if he isn't up to standard defensively? my arsenal supporting mate seems to think he started out as a winger but wenger is trying to convert him to a right back.
we havent made him crap, he has always been crap. well thats according to several watford fans i know who all laughed at me when they heard he was coming here on loan. they said he was absolute pony when on loan there.
forgot to add that Navarro got absolutely raped for their second goal. turned his back on the ball and the winger went past him like he wasnt there. so actually i'll change his rating to 3.
Brezovan 6 - claimed crosses comfortably. no chance with goals. a few dodgy kicks.
Hoyte 6 - looks average at this level. i like him, but not sure he's going to make it at arsenal.
Elphick 7 -one of his best performances of the season. great tackles.
Tunnicliffe 6 - did ok, struggled early on...
i just wanted to add that navarro was absolutely pony tonight. we desperately need a new left winger, unless cox seriously bucks his ideas up asap. also, murray's control was shocking tonight, i lost count of the number of times the ball literally bounced off him. another disappointing night.
how many times have we played well this season and still lost the game, particularly at home? walsall, southend, and tonight spring to mind. its my first year as a sth and i'm getting seriously frustrated. it was ok 'taking the positives' from the first 4-5 home defeats, but now we are rapidly...
