1. Kuipers is better than Brezovan (Kuipers didn't have too much to do, but what he did, he did well - especially a cracking save near the end after Torquay got a free kick right on the edge of the area);
2. We CANNOT do short corners. Woeful efforts from the McNulty/Dicker combination - two of which actually resulted in Torquay attacks. When we finally take a proper corner, we score!
3. Hoyte is a complete liability. He simply does not know how to defend.
4. 4-3-3 doesn't work. Dickinson had a better second half, especially after we scored, and Torquay pushed forward, creating some good break-away opportunities. But otherwise, Crofts, Dicker and Cox couldn't really get hold of the ball, so there wasn't enough service to the front guys.

Don't think Mr Poyet agrees with you about No 3. seeing as how he is trying to sort out a season long loan and I would imagine the 4-3-3 will reappear especially if we are chasing the game

Poyet said in his after match interview that he wanted to have teh team get used to this formation in a situation when they were not chasing the match - probably a good idea to get some experience of playing this way, and would explain why he kept to it through the match rather than going 4-4-2 with teh substitutions.

As far as point 2 is concerned I'm not sure that I've ever seen a short corner that has worked in the 22 years I've been watching the Albion. That said it was probably worth another try as most of Cox's conventional corners fail to beat the first man anyway.

In the dark days of last season, Whingy fought tooth and nail for the cause and kept spirits up. Personally, I have seen nothing from Hoyte that persuades me he is any better.
