Good for you.

I certainly don't enjoy every game I go to. I've witnessed some truly shocking performances but tonight was certainly not one of them. I really enjoyed this game, despite the final result.

You are of course entitled to your opinion. So am I, and tonight's opinion held by me is that those moaning about tonight's performance are indeed "miserable twats" :p

Yes some games are crap but I enjoy the passion of suporting the team as it's in my blood and I look forward to every game.

But people dressing up defeats as good performances once the oppossition performance levels have dropped after going 2-0 up away from home could be called 'Mugs'

i just cannot believe how crap this season has been at home, although its typical, as its my first year as a sth. there are only so many games where you can continue to 'take the positives' from yet another home defeat.

i just wanted to add that navarro was absolutely pony tonight. we desperately need a new left winger, unless cox seriously bucks his ideas up asap. also, murray's control was shocking tonight, i lost count of the number of times the ball literally bounced off him. another disappointing night.

How many of you went to the match? Year we lost, but we played bloody well except for the first 20 minutes.

What, nearly a quarter of the match? Teams that WIN don't tend to drift off for such a massive % of the game.

Give the man a shiny button. Nail on head.

Nail on head

Another vote for nail on head.

I must admit by the 20 minute mark I was concerned about how many goals we were going to lose by but by the end I was scratching my head wondering how we never got anything out of the game. Colchester can count thenselves very lucky to get 3 points tonight.

completely agree - A good performance today, a very entertaining match we could have won 5-2 if it wasn't for their keeper and the woodwork. We were very unfortunate not to get anything from the game, especially as we put them under alot of pressure in the 2nd half

We will be fine this season, just be patient. There is nothing to suggest that we can't finish in the top 10 by the end of the season, after all there are still plently of games left and plently of points to be won.

We are starting to pass the ball around alot more rather than hoofing it, we are creating good chances so there is no need for all the gloom and doom merchants to be so negative

Glad some folks agree with me!

The ST value for money this season is 10 times better than last!!

Might be losing far too many, but the football is a heck of a lot better.

Still I guess you need to go to games to notice that Mr Foster!

Entertainment v Winning factor?

I remember in our one & only season in the top flight when we were not fighting relegation that Bamber sacked Mike Bailey because we were not playing entertaining football, but were grinding out 1-0 wins. The crowds dropped & Bailey was sacked. History repeated itself again with Wilkins IMO.

Give me scrappy wins over constant 'entertaining defeats' any day

Utterly disgraceful.

Season ticket holders deserve a 50% refund.

Half the team need to leave in the January window (at least)

Ticket prices need to fall by a third (to get more punters into the ground & to create a better atmosphere)

Great idea, and the club will be skint within months.

Well at least you don't pretend to go, before spouting your negative shite any more.
watch the game , then tell us what you think.

so its Adams & Slades fault because you don't like them
But not Poyets because you like him.
How have we improved since Slade went?
We all want Gus to be Successful but to take another swipe at Slade is just uncalled for.

I dont like or dislike hoofer adams or slade or Poyet. I dont know them. I didnt like Adams or Slade losing every week despit having had cash. They did there best though, they just failed. Poyet has not had a chance to spend. When he does the he is expected to produce a winning side because like the other two managers, that is what his budget should pay for as its a significant budget for this division. If Poyet fails to produce after spending money then judge him, but now is not the time as its not his team. BTW I do go to games, not as much as others granted, about once a month, but yes I do judge on results - as will the chairman I expect given the cash he is pumping in.

Foster, were you the fool shouting the title of this thread to bennett at the final whistle, and telling him to f*** off? If so, you sir are no better than my 4 year old neighbour. If not, I hope you stick with Poyet, not like you did with Slade.

Most teams that are near the bottom of their respective divisions are the ones with the least amount of money. What a good idea to make them fork out refunds.

Most games this season I have left Withdean a little depressed. I enjoyed last night's game. I thought it was entertaining with skill being shown by both sides.Their goalkeeper was MOM for me. That save from Bennet's free kick in the first half was amazing. Colchester had some big blokes as well and they overan us in those first 15 minutes but we did push them back after that. Both Murray and Forster should have scored but when you are at the bottom that's what happens. However, I got my monies worth as a STH so no refund forme thank you..

Thats just not right mate, both Slade and hoofer adams had very competitive budgets. Plus we spent heavily in the close season (total figures escape me, but others have tallid it up before, plus as we all know its not just transfer fees its what ou spend on wages for players on a free that counts). We have a chairman putting cash up and the only point is that Slade and Adams failed to produce a winning team. The cash / results ratio is abysmal. Poyet has a go now and hope he succeeds and he will be judged on the team after he has spent. That is all.

That's assuming that spending cash brings instant results. It doesn't unless you are at stratospheric levels.

To blame all the problems on a former/current manager is oversimplistic, there are a number of issues at play at the Albion.

Just because you pay someone who is on £1200 a week at one of your rivals £1500 a week it doesn't make him better.

Can't work out how Colchester are currently 3rd. Thought they were a shite long ball team, who wasted time (granted when two up away you can do that) on another day Murray would have filled his boots. Their keeper had a superb game and we didn't start for 15 minutes.

They scouted us well.

Played a pressing game for 20 minutes and got in our faces and put us under pressure.

Our defence cannot handle it and they new that and got right at us.
