I suspect quite a few people enjoy it on this forum - it's nice, relaxing, easy watching and it's about people really, not about watching bread rise. It's better than Antiques Roadshow anyway.
I went about 15 years ago, really liked it, but the costs were crippling - had to limit myself to the cheapest tours I could find. Eating was a problem - I'm a slightly fussy eater and found it hard to identify restaurants that served anything that sounded nice but which also didn't charge £20...
It was a pretty good weekend, albeit on the pricey side. Really enjoyed Hooky and great to see Brian Wilson who surely cannot continue playing gigs for too much longer. Got Gaz Coombes to sign an album and he was very nice with my son. I'd go again, but I'd hold fire a bit to see if I could get...
Which bus used to go all around Willow Way in Hurstpierpoint? It was either the 171, 172 or 173. Used to like buses that took time-consuming detours (729 through Isfield always seemed fairly pointless in terms of picking up/setting down), but I'm no longer a fan.
I don't see a problem with this thread. Why is a question ridiculous just because it asks something that people wouldn't normally consider? There's more to life than talking about football and BREXIT, even on a football forum, surely?
Yes, very annoying for those of us who paid full price - I could have saved over £150 here. Maybe "full price payers" will get a special wristband, allowing us to queue jump, access to executive loos and free tea and coffee. I may adopt a wait and see attitude next year....
We need to get a group of us together to establish a trust that will house our vinyl collections in a South Coast museum when we pass - perhaps Lottery money could be used to prevent these important national treasures from being split up and purchased by bloated plutocrats?
I'm not sure I follow. An employee can walk away from their contract only if the contract says they can, for example, if certain conditions are met. Otherwise, a contract is legally binding. If I resign from my job and I have a three month notice period, then I am obliged to work out that...
On Twitter: Low (the band), Blueboy (the band), Chastity Belt (the band), St Christopher (the band), Ben Watt (the person), Adam Virgo....the list is absolutely endless - and I still tell my wife and children every time when I get a "like" from somebody they've never heard of. For me, these are...
I was actually in tears watching this at Latitude. But then my eyes were also moist during Tilted by Christine and the Queens and Scattered Ashes by Minor Victories. Doesn't take much for me to be overcome by beautiful music, much to my teenage son's embarrassment.
Left-handed for everything apart from batting in cricket. However, because of poor hearing in my left ear, I now pick up a phone with my right hand and put it to my right ear. Actually, I also prefer to use a mouse with my right hand too. Happy LHD to fellow lefties.
Agreed - there will be some short-term gains from foreign income. FTSE 250 is a better underlying measure of more UK-centric firms (like mine - down more than 25% since the referendum: choppy times!). Hopefully this desire to sell UK commercial property will go away, but, as it is, we currently...
