He's got such a cheeky face; great player.

Liverpool fans had belief, will we?

We're the East Stand, we're the East Stand, we're the....<stops> <looks around> As an East Stander, I will make a special effort to finish any chant tonight. COYS.

    Pet Hates

People on trains who yawn every two minutes and don't cover up their mouths. I stare at them, but it doesn't stop them.

Ambitious plans for Shoreham Cement Works

Stephen Dudman owns Dudman. Hargeaves own the site, and they are owned by holders of "bearer" shares (topical!) - no idea who holds these, but possibly the family who founded the group?

Just a quick message to say congratulations from....

Dean tweeted last night "Massive game tonight #OfficialBHAFC lets do this". What's not to like about the diminutive Haywards Heath winger?

I'd probably say Screamadelica ahead of Sonic Flower Groove. The latter drags a bit, although the singles are pretty good. Although I love the idea of Screamadelica, it tests my patience - too many songs could have used a decent editor.

    Mortgages - why the difference?

These are incredible rates (I think) for a 5-year fix. I'm happy to pay the redemption fee on my current 5 year 3.39% and lock this in. A few years ago, I incorrectly thought that the rates couldn't last, but these are fairly unpredictable times, hence my current choice.

    Mortgages - why the difference?

I'm currently switching to this rate - couldn't resist.

Sky Sports - Dunk "Keeping Albion's Play Off Hopes Alive" What?

To be honest, I quite enjoy this kind of thing. When we were at home to Bristol City in October, one of the previews started with "City have the chance to lift themselves out of the relegation places this evening as they travel to the South Coast etc etc". A feeling of righteous indignation is...

    Help with Campsites-Springbarn(Lewes)-Dogwood(brede)

I've been to both, but camping. Both nice spots - Dogwood is sheltered and quiet, quite small, not that much to do there, but pleasant. One block for showers and toilets; Spring Barn is attached to the tourist attraction farm and is open to the elements, but has great views of the Downs. Again...

Indietracks Festival / all things C86 and indiepop!

It was that tension between trousers and slacks, between polo shirts and short-sleeved shirts, that gave them the edge. Did TWP help them on the way? Why did Gedge omit the curse word in their version of Box Elder?

As a middle-aged man, I'm happy to read the reminiscences of others. I've never been to Leeds, although a university friend was from there and used to tell me about meeting The Edsel Auctioneer and The Pale Saints at parties. She also loved Leeds Station by The Parachute Men. There was a week or...

Age of Chance. "Kiss" was a bit of a shocker, an early example of "there's always been a dance element to our music".

You're obviously a bit of a hoarder! My George Best carrier went long ago. I think I actually used it as a bag rather than looking after it properly. I remember when gigs were cheap and you could ring up the venue to get hold of them, and they didn't sell out in three minutes to touts, but some...

Simgull, you've reminded me of my WP t-shirt with a picture of a dinosaur on it; it said something like "Ten hands, ten feet, five heads" on it and I never saw anyone else with it. Think I picked it up at a ULU gig. Shaun, did this have some kind of deep meaning, or did you just like dinosaurs?
