Would like to see El Turi play against Stoke even if for 45mins to see whether he shows any sign at all of being able to play English football next season.
Said he did not get a penny of the transfer fee for Virgo to buy new players - it all went back into the running of the club. At the time I seem to remember Knight and Mcghee promising some of the money would be invested in new players:glare:
I think centre back is the one part of the squad where we actually have a bit of depth, and where we can easily get loan cover if needed. It would be nice to get him, but there are more important signings to be made in the close season.
1. New left back if Lynch is sold
2. New central...
If you are interested in a small MPV then I would look at the new Nissan Note. It has some great reviews and is family friendly, and is made in Britain as well (apart from a few French Renault bits)! They should be doing some good finance deals as it is a new model to get them on the road...
Looks like some more 4 bedroom £500K+ appartments for Hove then! I thought the whole point of the lottery was to allow places like the Engineerium to keep going?
I don't seem to remember The ODPM letter describing the error in JP's decision as "fatal"?
Seems ironic that LDC are happy to use the word fatal in their press statements when they seem to get the police invovled with any similar wording by falmer supporters!
LDC are really trying to stir...
And also remember that the government will want to be seen promoting sport and its associated infrastructure from now till 2012 so it is hardly likely to delay or stop the building of a brand new iconic sports stadium just down the road from the Olympic games!
It was always likely that the High Court would have asked the ODPM to reconsider anyway, so the ODPM are just cutting out this bit of the process. I'm sure they know it is their cock-up, so will now be working hard to push the whole thing on a bit faster. I can't see any other decision than a...
Readings ground has a bit of character about it which makes it a decent football stadium. Southamptons ground looks the same no matter what stand you are in, as do most of the other modern stadiums.
That is why I think Falmer will work as a stadium. Do to it being built into the hill and...
We will all be so pissed off if the club come out with a lemon of kit like the stupid red or black bat strip. Come on Club come up with a smart, modern design that people will want to buy cos it looks good.
The Ironic thing about the rise and fall of Wimbledon is that Plough Lane still to this day remains a derilict, undeveloped bit of wasteland. That is must what really piss off the true AFC Wimbledon supporter. The club never was the same after they sold that ground.
Will the Regency Society be able to cope with all these proposed builds. Marina Towers, King Alfred, Brighton Centre, West Peir Pod, Black Rock Ice rink, Falmer! I can imagine all this stress must be getting too much for most of the old crusty Nimbys.
If he keeps scoring goals in the reserves then he has to be given a chance in the first team if we have a game or two left at the season and we are already down. Its the only way we will ever know whether he is worth keeping for next season.
