I don't think they were the happiest bunch of supporters that day! They also tried to set fire to their own stand during the match, and when they tried and failed to get to us for a fight, decided to take on there fellow supporters, police and stewards.
Anyone remeber the massive coach convoy...
We were given about 1500 tickets to sell.
Away end holds over 2000 in top tier of the stand, and about another 2000 in the "overflow" bottom tier. I can't see us taking 4000+ to the game so getting in won't be a problem.
Vodaphone PAYG phones don't always accept monthly pay sim cards! I found this out to my cost when I tried to "upgrade" my vodaphone business phone at minimal cost.
Our company has since changed contracts to 12 months so we now get upgrades every year with no hassle :clap2:
And with local elections coming up soon they may be on the look out for a good local council story. I'm sure one or two of the nationals may be interested especially as the lib dems always seem to get worked up about local elections.
I wish the club would move the advertising boards back a bit from directly behind the goal. If you are at the front of the stand you can't see the goal line or much of the ball when it is in the six yard box.
New Sony Ericsson due out in June 2006 is the K790. It will have a 3.2MP camera and will take decent videos as well. Worth waiting for if you want a decent camera phone. It will also be a great MP3 player as well.
All i'm worried about is whether he can last the season due to his reputation of being crocked 50% of the time.
Our past experience of spotting a potential crocked players is not the best - Blackwell, Rodgers, Roberts, Kitson, and now El Turi and his dodgy hamstrings and his abilty to injure...
Reading Ferrets comments on seagulls.co.uk I think it is clear that this is the last we will see of McPhee at the club. It sounds pretty permanent to me!
One time only. Hereford home match when the fireworks went off and everyone left the ground 15mins early. I still tried to watch the match through the gap in the exit doors in the North West corner of the Goldstone.
This is another classic example of the downside of privatisation.
£££'s for shareholders now comes before service for the customer.
Immediately prior to, and since privatisation there has been a huge reduction in investment to make the water companies more profitable and attractive to...
Good to see the club doing something to stir up some support for the last few games. I think at this price it may attract a few fans back and fill up the new stand.
