    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Sometimes a club signs a player who is almost instantly destined for better things, you realise that in a sad way we are holding that player back and he deserves to be with a bigger club ... not sure if I get that feeling with Maupay.

To be fair he has currently been selected by 1% of Fantasy Football managers. .... that used to be called " damned by faint praise "

So is Ashley Barnes.... just, not very often too.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

I can vouch for this. Some of my workmates had a short midweek trip to Milan recently, long story short, their flight back got cancelled, they moved them to another hotel and said they would be on a flight two days later. Two days later, that flight got cancelled... they were advised the best...

[Misc] How Does The Club Benefit From Hosting The Euros?

Sure this falls in to the " Community Stadium " bracket ? Yes it's not always about the Albion. This gives locals a chance to see top quality International Ladies Football, something to be proud of and may just enthuse local players of either sex to aspire to top level football.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

This is genuinely a vote to find the "Least Worst " candidate.. I think Rishi could do the job ....if he employs the best advisors he can get....and listens ! Truss is a potential/probable disaster and I would not be surprised if Johnson will back her simply because it will make his previous "...

There is still hope that Rishi will win though...I'm sure the Blue Rinser's are desperate for the chance to support a member of an ethnic minority getting the top job and showing off their multicultural credentials.

I did laugh when Johnson mentioned at PMQ'S that he wanted to bring in a Bill preventing Wildcat Strikes.....that might prevent another Tory PM from having 50+ ministers from walking out in the future !

This is fully what I expect. Johnson is a nasty piece of work on the quiet, a vindictive and spiteful bully.

Sounds like we are going to be governed by a continuity fruit loop now. Can see Rushi being knifed by Johnson to leave Truss or Mordaunt as the inheritor of the tarnished crown. Expect lots of hilarity a they try to " Re-do " Brexit and blame the country's ills on the Deep State or Whitehall...

    [Help] Gardeners Question Time.

You should be able to stick virtually anything outside by the end of May, bung it in but it might not flower or get very big. Lots of plants have a kind of locked in growth period linked to daylight length, meaning that they store energy up for flowering at the optimum time for the flowers to...

    [Cricket] Ben Stokes

Fair play to him, the stress on mind and body across all formats will take its toll. I would have been tempted to give up Test Cricket rather than 50 overs / T20 though. especially when you throw in the length of tours of Tests compared to short format.
