Whether you "buy" it or not, the scientific evidence is overwhelming.
Having smoking and non-smoking areas in buildings is as pointless as having pissing and non-pissing areas in swimming pools.
I'm sure you get the analogy.
I'm a non-smoker and can't see why you'd ban those, they seem to me to be the perfect solution for everyone. Somkers get their fix, non-smokers aren't affected.
Possibly, not been through Singapore. I've been to Bangkok, but not being a smoker probably wouldn't have noticed. Having said that, I did notice that at Adu-Dhabi, they just had a normal room for people to smoke.
You're completely missing the point. Smoking isn't a personal habit, it affects everyone around you, wvwn outdoors. Why does the fact that you smoke give you a divine right to fill my lungs with carcinogenic smoke?
Expedia normally have good flight + hotel deals as well, but the cheapest way is often to book flights and hotels separately on different sites. Skyscanner is awesome for flghts, it checks dozens of online travel agents and direct airline costs and will usually find you the cheapest seat on a...
A few months ago I would have recommeded Beirut. Hotels are cheap, nightlife is awesome, loads to see during the day, I went there the easter before last, had a whale of a time. It's become less stable since Syria kicked off though.
Depends what you're looking for, Budapest is both beautiful and cheap, and Wizz Air (the Hungarian version od Easyjet - I've flown with them, they're OK) fly direct from Luton. Has a good nightlife and there's plenty to do during the day as well. (If you're into rock, check out the Rocktagon -...
I saw a lost kid over here. He was sitting screaming and crying in the street. I stood and watched for over an hour and not one single person went to help him.
What's wrong with people these days??
That's a bit of a dumb answer tbh, the insuraqnce doesn't get your phone numbers back! I know we should all have backups, I also know I haven't.
I would have helped the lad, got him to a steward, phoned his dad myself, but I wouldn't hand my phone over either.
I went in January once. The snow was deep, there was a police warning not to stay outside too long as your eyeballs could freeze shut and a fuel shortage! That was back in '94 though, when they had their worst winter for a long time.
We were just starting a road trip there though, a week later...
I do, yes. The Free Syrian Army are pro-democracy. Unfortunately Jihadist fighters have since joined the battle and this is causing problems. The FSA themselves have identified it, something they wouldn;t do if they were Islamist themselves.
Living quite close to Syria I know a few Syrians. From what I gather it's mainly the rich Syrians who did very nicely out of Assad that support him. The majprity of the rest don't.
The lead poster also seems to have totally forgotten that Assad's started firing on and shelling the peaceful...
Champion's League playoff, first leg tomorrow in Nicosia. I'll be there.
Wish us luck! If we win on aggregate we'll be the second Cypriot team ever to qualify for te group stages, having said that, I think Anderlecht will slaughter us!
