What difference does that make?? That day is still a school holiday. Legislation states the number of days a year children must be in school. The number of days that teachers are contracted to work is higher than this. Those are the INSET days. It isn't rocket science.

Also private schools have much smaller class sizes which makes a huge difference to the amount of time given per pupil.
