Try and avoid the more obvious ones, I'm looking for very well known chants were the original song is now old and not as well known as the chant.
I'll go first:
There's only one (anyone)
or of course,
There's only two Peter Taylors...
I'd be thinking EXACTLY the same thing if I was still in the UK.
What's the point of supporting a club and NOT wanting them to do well?
Maybe you should switch your allegience to Crawlwy if you'd rather support a shitty little club...
I must admit I'm surprised but the results so far, Brighton are my team and I want to see them go as high as possible. If and extra few quid a game, and tbh that's what we're talking about here, means the difference between going up and not going up, then we need to bite the bullet and pay it.
I remember, we were, they bit as well, because there were so many of them they needed the salt. I remember there being advice not to wear red or yellow clothes because they were attracted to those colours. The beach huts used all have different coloured doors back then and I can remember walking...
Insulation keeps heat out as well as in. You can, for example, keep hot coffee, or cold ice cream equally well in a thermos flask. My house here in Cyprus has single concrete walls. As a result, the house is boiling hot in summer and freezing cold in winter, the house would be cooler in summer...
People keep dying in the UK because of the weather. It appreaches 30 and people die, and yet here in Cyprus it's always over 30 for at least two months and sometimes approaches 40 and people don't die of it, even poor people in the villages with no aircon.
It drops to a few degrees below zero...
A London train sometime in the early 90s.
"We apologise for the delay to this service, but a barn roof has blown onto the line".
Now, you see, that's an excuse I can understand, unlike leaves, or the wrong kind of snow, I can clearly understand why a roof on the tracks would hold up a train...
I'm a chemistry teacher. You think 30 council estate kids with bottles of acid is no responsibility?
We ALL have responsibilities on our job, I was also head of year, with responsibility for child protection within my year group.
Whatsmore, even in the classroom, if I **** up and the kids...
I wouldn't expect an electrician to be as highly paid as a post graduate profession.
The closest to your profession who would hold a degree and could be considered like for like with teachers are electronics engineers, where are they? Let's look - oh yes, right up there at number 20.
No, 27...
So, in your profession someone who is NOT management gets paid more than someone in teaching who IS in management, and they can earn overtime on top of that whereas teachers do any extra hours (ckubs, school trips etc) for free.
Way to shoot your own argument down in flames.
