I know your all normally very helpful on here so looking for some help, I have an 80's fancy dress party to attend but no idea what to dress up as.

Anyone got any idea's apart from the usual stuff?

Go as Margaret Thatcher. She sums up the 80's in this country (whatever your political colour) more than anything else.

Super Mario. It's easy, me and a friend of mine over here did Mario and Luigi last carnival.

All you need:

Blue overalls, red T-shirt, white gloves, Mustache, red baseball cap, you can make the M badge for it yourself.

It's a bit tricky to dress up as a grave stone? Plus it won't be very pleasant when people at the party either dance or piss on you.

I'd go as Adam Ant. Hire a Highwayman's outfit, stick a stripe on your dial and job done.

If you want something cheap, go in a big cardboard box (you can suspend it with braces).

When anyone asks you what you've come as, you just tell them "I'm a-livin' in a BOX"

BOOOOOM.

Go the party dressed as the computer game 'Pong':

Wear all-black.

Tie white table tennis ball to black string.

Stick other end of string onto your head.

Wear white gloves.

Keeping your hands flat, knock the table tennis ball from one hand to the other.
