The "Ultra's" are killing the atmosphere

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Tooooony Bloooooooooom
can make this world seem right
Tooooony Bloooooooooom
can make the darkness bright
Tony Bloom and you alone
Can thrill me like you do
And fill my heart with love for Tony Bloom

Toooooooony Blooooooooom
can make this change in me
For it's true, you are my destiny
When you hold my hand
I understand the magic that you do
You're my dream come true
My one and only Bloom

I wish you wouldn't blame us for everything. We nicked 'we love you' off St Pauli-so it's the Germans fault.

Strange how you have a new owner, new stadium, new(ish) manager, a new team, a shed load of new fans....but no new songs! We have fans like you just like to moan about anything. Wear a hat and earphones you miserable git and let the kids sing.

last night i was sat (stood) around the top right of our fans which is under criticsm in this thread. Im happy to admit i did not start or sing any of these pointless songs. But my point is that if we're singing something to support the team then the 14 year olds dont need to sing cringey stuff. I however, tried my best to get people singing real brighton songs which worked but because i was in the top right section people must be assuming im a twat and not sing because numerous times i started and not many followed.

looking forward to boro though, we might be able to miss the young, drunk, think there a firm fans

For everyone who comes on here saying this song and that song are bobbins: suggest an alternative. Otherwise, we sit there in silence - like at Withdean. Remember that?

Withdean is irrelevant. Its about the away experience 2/3 years ago compared to now. Not the home experience

atmosphere has always been good away from home until about 9 months ago. the facts dont lie

Really?

My general experience of away days has been largely the same across the last 30 years. Long trips are superb, excellent atmosphere, top fans, but anything more local, anything in or around London does tend to draw in more of the unsavioury element from our support.

Facts? Not really a fact either way, just opinion.

Songs at away games have never been the same since Krispies was spoken to by the Old Bill at Barnsley for singing "On Ilkley Moor B'aht 'at" while waving a large marrow.

But part of the issue seems to be certain 'sections' of our support seem reluctant to sing more traditional Brighton songs, at times ignoring them and instead trying to get their somewhat specialist numbers going instead.

Watford were singing your 'We love you song' last night. Even more poorly than we do.

They both try and sing that St Pauli song, badly and both sung by a small section of the crowd.

No real point beyond that.

Oh. In which case, the answer is yes.

I hate Brighton.

seriously commander the only "we love you" song i was ever interested in was sung by cock sparrow, maybe its time to broaden your horizon on singing at football matches...................... just a thought .

I think English fans calling themselves Ultras is a little pathetic to be honest. Not surprised we have a group calling themselves this, always have had a noddy element amongst our fan base.

What on earth are you on about Das? I wasn't singing that song, I was saying Watford were.

"as badly as we do" , referring to yourself ? ....... COME ON OWN UP !

'We' as in Brighton fans in general. But yes, I admit, I have sung it myself before. I don't really care what we sing as long as everyone sings and it is sung loud. If certain songs are only sung by certain sections of fans, then we should ditch them.
