The YES decision may be the exact reason we're having this massive clearing out of players-we were told that money to strengthen the squad would be available once planning was approved.

Maybe the signing of Murray for £300,000 was a sign of things to come?

Out of all those released so far, the only one that I can't really understand is Rents, who I thought could have been given more of a chance. I think he could have made up into a decent left sided midfielder even if he was a bit lightweight for a left back, he linked up the attacking play well.

No other real surprises, glad they released Martot as he was very over-rated.

This is the basis of a DECENT squad.

I would love to see us add a specialist left back (hopefully Matt Richards), a utility defender (like Adam El Abd), a winger and a quality midfielder (a la Racon)... exciting times
