Nothing. The argument was about wanting all foreigners in the Brighton team, like Arsenal, because English players were too expensive.

Well as far as that, that lies squarely at the feet of the relevant English football bodies for allowing so much foreign ownership of its clubs.

Even a few years back it was just PL sides this was an issue with.

Now even in Division One in England we have a team owned by billionaire foreigners.

So if you've billionaires splashing cash in your third tier league it's going to inflate the market even at that level.

Imagine the frustration for our clubs management when every time they inquired about a local player they were quoted way over the odds for a fee and a wage.

It seems no matter what we do we're damned if we do in the eyes of some and damned if we dont in the eyes of others.

And that relates to us looking for non league players who are generally English to bring in at a price we can afford. But when we do they get howled down for doing so but a section of our fans.

Bad point.

Look at our managerial situation we had.

When we had Dean Wilkins our team was nearly all English and that is the furthest we've finished in the last 3 years.

It is also the last time we had a manager for a full season. Is that a coincidence?

By the seaside in West Somerset
good find Turkey

"if he does ok tomorrow (tonight presumably) permission will be given for him to go (on tour) to Portugal"

potential fee "several hundred thousand (krone)" so 300,000 would be around 32K sterling

We need him to help complete a "non English" starting 11 that will take us to GLORY

Brezovan

Calderon El Abd Greer Kishishev

Dicker Battipiedi Baz ???

Barnes Midtgarden

Barnes is English. Born in Bath to English parents. He has only played for the Austrian U20s so could still play for England (unlikely I know).

So, an Englishman who in his mispent youth has prostituted himself to the hun. Bit like Lawrenson and the Irish.
