Palace have clearly had to accept peanuts for Ambrose just to get shot of him. I gather he's on something like £13k a week. Nobody would touch him with a shitty stick with those wages unless the transfer fee was buttons, so its take £250k now and get him off the wagebill, or lose him for nothing in 12 months after stumping up another £750k for a seasons worth of his (highly inconsistant) services.

Rock and a hard place for poor old Palace. With Clyne and Scannell on the way as well. Tough times. Tough times.
