I looked at the mid table and drew a parallel with Brighton and Freiburg. Both were in the Europa League and both made the knockout stage and got thumped and both finished halfway in their respective domestic leagues. Brighton edged it ever so slightly due to finishing top of their Europa group...

How do you judge whether the EPL mid table teams are more competitive than their Bundesliga counterparts though? What are you basing it on?

I did not suggest this. I was drawing an analogy with another poster regarding your comment about German ladies.

I have posted it a few times, I admit. I personally think it's a very persausive photo? BTW, I'm not on a drinking-in-the-seats mission......I'm simply promoting German lovliness.

I disagree. He was under a contract at Brighton. Whilst he might have not got a job in the coaching staff I find it hard to believe the club would have sacked him.

I don’t recall this. He was under contract so the club would have to have sacked him. Im sure they would have found him a job somewhere.

He also said “once a seagull…”. He was a great servant to the club but to say this as then bugger off when the first offer came sours this.
