Bit too soon for me I think. Giving consideration to doing both Brighton versions next year, one week apart. The steps really bust me up yesterday!

5.53 for me and to be honest I felt happy enough because I struggled with my footing trying to protect my back (slipped disc). £1300 for my charity, can't complain. Roll on Brighton in April.

They kindly put hills everywhere, but leave the largest till last!

Was all set for Beachy Head on Saturday (1st marathon) - slipped a disc in my back last night. Gutted.

Probably about 3 every 2 nights, so maybe 11 for the week - red. Never drank at home until my little boy was born (2.5 years ago)!

Is Beachy Head going to be as bad as I think it will for my first marathon?! Am I right in thinking I can add something like 30-45 minutes more than I might expect to do a "normal" marathon?

Did 10 miles this morning, 1st week of training - 1hr 48. 4:21 sounds good to me!
