Well if we're on about 80's Sterns prior to and thereafter the underground was built (about 82-85'ish), my old mate Chris was the resident DJ there.

Practically lived my night life in Sterns in the 80's! Started going there when it wasn't busy and just had the one dance floor before the underground was built. Happy days...

A few years back in a Euro Chumps League match in Turkey... think it was Fernabache v Chelsea, they went one better and had the PA guy commentating and stoking up the crowd during the match!! Ref had to tell someone to tell him to shut the f*ck up... I thought it was well funny.

This was actually the first time I have said that I was worried so to speak, I have been optimistic for months, it was almost tongue in cheek and not aimed at this season. But it is insulting being called a coward for merely saying been there, done it. I don't really find that comment worthy...

I also remember playing Blackpool (maybe the year before) and they had a keeper called Ian Hednesford. He was only a kid at the time and the North Stand ripped the piss out of him. But he was brilliant and bantered back with us the whole half. He was even chatting with us during the game...

That was seriously close at the bottom of the division, as well as the top.

I am sure you are a decent person and as I said, not directed at you, just the newbie thing does my head in. We should be encouraging 'newbies' into the club and welcoming them with open arms, or we could be a 5,000 supported club that welcomes no-one. I know what I prefer.
