Billy Connolly - a funny man but has he gone too far this time ?

He's a twat. I like tasteless jokes but it wasn't even funny. Never liked him anyway.

Anyone watch the 9/11 conspiracy programme on C4?

I think the attacks could have been prevented and the US intelligence was manipulated. A lot of the conspiracy theories will be dis-information to make other theories seem part of a scheme just too far fetched. I think a few claims seemed credible mainly the presence of the Israeli spies. If the...

    Nicolas to stay

It must be true, it's also in the Sun. We had the option signing him permanently when we took him on loan but Mcghee wanted to be sure he was better than we already had at the club. If true will probably be the end of Oatway as a first choice midfielder. Mcghee is quietly building a...

How many of the Millwall team are McGhee players?

Fans and players turned on him when he persisted in selecting players out of posistion. After reaching the play offs they had dropped to mid table and when the chairman asked him to justify his lineup his explanation got him the sack. I suspect Wise was stirring it up.

    Final position in the league

I predicted 4th place last year and I'm sticking with 4th from bottom this season. We don't do mid table but we surely can't change division for the 5th season in a row, can we????

    How good was Jakeys goal!!!

I think Jakes movement and vision are very impressive for someone so young. Compared to previously hyped youth players he's hit the ground running, only just 17 and has 2 goals to his name already. Mcghee says he's working on his strength so I see no reason why he can't be a regular member of...

    Train to Reading.

I make the return trip from Reading to Brighton regularly and the easiest way is via Gatwick. No hassle of going through London and just 1 change.

Reading is the third largest place in the south of England.

Proof ? Your proof is just your opinion that places outside Reading such as Earley and Woodley should be drafted to Reading district when they clearly are not part of Reading and public opinion considers and prefers them to be part of Wokingham district.

Pubs In Reading That Will Allow Wearing Of Footy Shirts

Guy I'm sitting next to lives in Earley and knows nothing of this uproar. He would prefer to be considered part of Wokingham district as Wokingham was voted best place to live last year and Reading is stigsville. I think his opinion is probably shared by the majority.

Pubs In Reading That Will Allow Wearing Of Footy Shirts

I worked in Thames Valley Park and on one side of A329M roundabout is Woodley (Clearly signed Wokingham District on all road names) and the other side is Reading. Just because Earley and Woodley are nearer to Reading than Wokingham does not make them part of Reading !

Pubs In Reading That Will Allow Wearing Of Footy Shirts

Reading a city? Bollocks, I live in Bracknell, work in Reading and people from Earley or Woodley do not consider it too be part of Reading. It's like saying Rottingdean is Brighton.:dunce:

Which club will be the 1st to say NO to Withdean

Our changing rooms are ok, basic but quite spacious although the home one has comforts such as electric heaters and some comgy physio benches. I know because I sneaked in after queueing for tickets for Cardiff. Still had all our set pieces on the whiteboard and who was marking who at corners for...

    Pubs for Saturday

Readings jammed with themed bars near the station and by the river outside the Oracle shopping centre. Bar Risa is now the Boardwalk and is good at night but a bit dead in the day, Forum opposite the station is nice and easy. Most of the Bars near the station are Yates, Wetherspoons, Walkabout etc.

Alternative Sites - the official facts.

Been reading the report and Collyers main requirement was for more in depth, consistent analysis with an accurate and updated costing for each site. Falmer is the best site and I'd only worry about Sheepcote which may be a non runner due to land fill use and transport links. The criteria suit...

Mr Collyer really doesn't seem to like us!

He reckons Sheepcote is an option as fans won't mind walking between 6km and 8km from Brighton station!

    Did Hoile's report help us?

Hoile may have done us a favour by making his main objection to the local plan the availability of better sites than Falmer. Hoile didn't seem to be the most informed or attentive of planning inspectors and I don't think he grasped the unique nature of the application. He even admitted missing...

OK, so what ARE the other possible sites and why can't we build a stadium there?

I've got a few questions that really shouldn't have anything to do with football but here goes: If the new enquiry finds another site is better suited for development on planning grounds, meets the criteria wll we have the required approval to go ahead and build on this site? Could you have a...
