I reckon 52. Rotherham are doomed and Gillingham will probably go too but I wouldnt be surprised if Forest and Cardiff won a lot of home games in the second half of the season. Cardiff is going to be like WW3.
Im not sure about the rest of your figures but that 1 is certainly wrong as Robinson has only ever started 2 matches - Grimsby and Coventry. Its hardly fair to say 1 in 12 as a lot of his sub appearances have only been for a few minutes. There would have been another minute if we hadnt scored...
The frightening thing is that McGhee reportedly gets tactical ideas from watching the Brighton Bears (I kid you not). Presumably this includes hoofing the ball most of the length of the pitch to Virgo and McCammon.
On that basis, when is he ever going to get a game? Why should the crowd get on his back? Im sure it wouldnt do his confidence much good to be left out of the team after reportedly scoring 25 goals in under half a season and at a time when Leon is suspended. He can hardly score fewer goals than...
Yes, and Im sure he will be even more pissed off if we return to hoof-ball with McCammon and Virgo together. If McGhee isnt going to play him, then why are we paying his wages (which must be among the highest at the club)?
Im sure Leon will leave in January, which might be the best thing for both him and the club. McGhee obviously has issues with him. If 2 big lumps - McCammon and Virgo - play up front together tonight, then that might be the final straw. Virgo should play in central defence, where his...
I would say our problem at the moment is that McGhee is playing Virgo and Claridge together, a combination with all the pace of a slug in a salt cellar. Theres no reason at all why a smaller player shouldnt play alongside 1 of them. I hope Knight and Robinson get a chance or we will lose them...
I would be happy with Virgo and Hinshelwood in the centre of our defence. If we get a decent offer for Cullip, not a piss-take, then we should accept it. Would be sad to see him go, but I think we have very decent cover in that position.
We have got to stop behaving like a charity in dishing out contracts willy-nilly. Im afraid that means Roberts has to go. We dont need him AND Kuipers - just the 1 will do, with the option of a loan move if Kuipers gets injured/suspended and the staff dont consider the young keepers ready for...
Is it just me or is anyone else worried about our chronic lack of pace up front? Virgo and Claridge together have the mobility and speed of a slug in a salt cellar, making our forward play far too predictable. Surely we cant play the 2 of them together and it is time for Knight and/or Robinson...
