Can we afford to throw money away?

There have been plenty of opportunities to buy tickets on general sale this season, Wrexham and Gillingham to name just 2 at which point you would have 40 points. I thought I would struggle to get tickets this season but have not missed out at all. If you are organised and get yourself...

Can we afford to throw money away?

I believe Newcastle turned down their 15% and i'm not even sure if they have sold their 10% so can't see random Newcastle fans popping up amongst the Albion fans and totally agree with the need to make seats available to anybody that wants to go especially as the capacity is due to increase next...

Can we afford to throw money away?

Presumably as it's a more high profile game, all sounds daft to me too, we have everything in place eg stewards, police etc so i can't see how a couple of troublemakers would be able to do much, i may be way off the mark with my reasoning, like everybody else you would prefer to see it sold out...

Can we afford to throw money away?

I would imagine the need for some points is to stop anyone signing up and getting a ticket (ie out of area people who may want to cause trouble in the stadium), I personally can't see this happening but i presume there has to be an element of control i suppose.

Can we afford to throw money away?

By my adding up (may not be overly accurate as sometimes you wish you hadn't started doing something!!) there are about 600 seats left, the majority of them are single seats. You would hope the club would put the tickets on general sale as you wouldn't expect many people to start buying now if...

    210 minutess + PENS

My money is on Cardiff, Palace were lucky in the first leg...at home, All the pundits were saying Palace were lucky and they expect Cardiff to go through but what do they know... As we all know Brighton did not play well lst night but still won, you gotta take that whatever, a win is a win...

    North Stand Chat muppets

I would like the opportunity to say well done Albion, not a great performance by any means but we aren't Barcelona, even if we were i imagine even they have to grind out a result every now and again. I honestly think that no player takes to the pitch thinking, can't be arsed today, they are all...

    Barnes

Totally agree with the opinion of the ref, he was rather easy going and seemed to be having a very good time last night, you don't like to see people sent off, i think Tooley was just knackered and too slow to get to the ball first, very lucky not to make full contact as that could have caused...

    Barnes

Oh and well played Barnesy, scored an important goal and great penalty, great cross sparrow to set the goal up, bit more cash in the bank and a high profile game at the Amex. All the penalties were grerat too, well done under the pressure guys, could have folded but kept their cool and stepped...

    Barnes

You could see by his face after the incident that hedidn't mean it, he turned around straight away, he feared the worst as did most, generally if you stamp on somebody like that and mean it you try to keep your head down and try to look innocent, pure momentum and trying not to fall on the...

    Playing the gus way

The old saying goes...."the ball never gets tired" and this is so true, pass and move, short and simple, make the opposition work and bring them out of position to create the gaps, be patient and punish when you can. It all becomes more difficult when the opposition camp in their half and are...

    Buckley

I have a friend who is a Southampton fan and was at the Amex and said Buckley was by far the best player that day. Totally agree, great signing, has had some great games already (Liverpool being one) just needs to keep fit and i'm sure he will be a massive asset.

    Team vs Wrexham?

Didn't Bergkamp go out on loan, if so presumably he's back, anyone know how he did?

    Pointless Observation of the day

The long sleeved blue shirts the players wear are base layers, the most common ones are designed to keep your muscles fresh take, moisture away from the body keeping you warm and increase your recovery time. I don't think many players wear long sleeve nowadays as the base layers are the in thing...

Palace must be DESPERATE for cash.

21 goals in premiership 8 of which were penalties, i know you've got to score them but if you can't score from 12 yards as a pro striker there must be something wrong in my eyes.

Palace must be DESPERATE for cash.

Another 1 season wonder that only scored penalties

If 10 mil was on offer for Zaha then someone should of bitten their hand of and sprinted to the bank before they realised they had bought George Weah's cousin. Zaha isn't worth 10 mil the world's gone mad. (wasn't it Southampton that signed/trialled George Weah's cousin???? that was so funny!!!)
