I like this, although I am a fan of the 'old fashioned' bruiser of a centre forward; I remember the likes of Malcolm McDonald and Joe Jordan. But I do think we have the talent already if we played it properly.
I've been saying this to my mates for some time. There are many sports where only the Captain can speak to the ref and if football actually applied its own rules then there would be no issues. However, 6-a-side after 20 minutes may be unacceptable. But it would only take a couple of matches...
Last year I really enjoyed the 7 times that I was able to get to the Amex. The Amex is such a great place to watch football and sometimes I forget just how good the Amex experience is. I went with a mate to Fratton Park a few weeks ago and that is really rubbish; and they charged £25 for that...
Twas a spectacular night! In the days before 24 hour and multi-channel TV the last day of the cricket was broadcast live because it was such a close/tense match. I made a pyramid of my empty beer cans and apparently this really upset my mother! All part of life's rich tapestry!

I can usually cope with apostrophes, and their/they're/there etc but, and I don't know why, the one that always confuses me is 'past' and 'passed'.
I'm not a big cricket fan, but nothing in that sport will ever, and I mean EVER, surpass THAT match when Botham and Willis trashed the Aussies. I'm sure a proper cricket buff will correct me but I think it was the Ashes in 1982. I was proper drunk that night!!! :-)
