Incorrecto Wookiee.
Rotherham last won a championship in 1988-89 (Div 4) - the following year they finished 9th in Div 3.
I can assure you that it is just the seven teams I mentioned in my opening thread.
It is amazing to think that every season 3 teams have an opportunity to achieve this...
Sorry CFD your info concerning Liverpool is wrong.
Liverpool, like the Albion and others stated, have only achieved back to back different league championships once. Liverpool achieved this way back in 1905-06 season when they won Div 1(Top league) after winning Div 2 the previous season...
Blimey Sfc - I hope I'm not sitting next to you in the WSU !
It was a point of interest (debatable?) and a feat that the Club should be proud of - and one that we MIGHT repeat.
But FCUK it! you have got me really fired up now -
I predict we will have the CHAMPIONSHIP won by the end of...
I think it more prudent to mention it now - I am not saying we are going to do it - but it is a possibility. Perhaps a greater possibility now than come XMas !
Besides you can only boast/dream about it when you've won a championship - and we have !!! :rave:
Together with your quote that taking 287 to Swansea is "not bad" shows why you are not a massive club.
Oh and don't whine on about having a new stadium until it's actually built and SOLD OUT !
:amex: = SOLD OUT.
That's what is all about - dreaming.
Funny sort of Club The Albion - it is just the sort of thing we would go and do.
Leeds,Peterboro ? - naahh - never. Just the seven mentioned in my opening post.
If we win the Championship this season we would become the ONLY Club in the history of the Football League to achieve successive championships of different divisions - TWICE !!!!!
At the moment we are in an elite group with Liverpool,Everton,Spurs,Ipswich,Oxford & Wolves who have all achieved...
Yep - 27 more than you took to Cardiff ! - what don't you do Wales?
Your away attendances are a long standing joke - especially considering that London has the best motorway and rail network access to anywhere in the UK. (1,700 to Watford and 2,100 to Millwall :lolol:)
In what way is Crystal Palace massive ?
Fan base ? past trophies ? size of stadium ?
Help me out here because I am struggling big time.
Remind me how Brighton's average attendance has compared to ours in recent years?
Remind me how many trophies Brighton have won in the the...
"It's such a massive club."
In what way is Crystal Palace massive ?
Fan base ? past trophies ? size of stadium ?
Help me out here because I am struggling big time.
Reminds me of that Aussie joke - "How do you know when the POMS land at Sydney Airport ? you can still hear the whining when the engines are turned off"
Says it all - :tosser:
The trouble with someone like you is that everyone on here knows that you would have been spouting the exact same bullshit at this stage last year. And you would have been saying the exact same things about Norwich as you are about the Albion if they were your "rivals"...
