My dad was in the The Grenadier Guards for 15 years. Have many pictures of him on duty and standing outside Buckingham Palace in those boxes.

Muswell hill firebomb attack.
Blamed on the EDL , the police have a person in custody.
And romour has it , it is a muslim.
So I will wait for baited breath for the apology for the accusation.
The silence will be deafening.

Only place ive found anything about an arrest, and that says this 'was a muslim', is on the BNP site?
Are you sure somebody has been arrested, or are you going by what somebody in the BNP posted?
Do yo have a credible media link?

Once again I am in agreement here Pasta. They all perpetuate the hate and accept no responsibility for their part in spreading mistrust, misinformation and bile.

One Love!

nice one foot soldier.I think every one should be buying them

Whilst I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with people buying and wearing with pride Help for Heroes goods I'm not comfortable with the 'everyone should be buying them' attitude. I have great respect for our armed forces, but I don't see them all as 'heroes', just professionals doing a very difficult job. Also, the job many are being asked to do in Afghanistan is one that I don't support politically. Therefore I'd feel a hypocrite wearing Help for Heroes stuff in the current context. I'm more than happy to donate to charities that look after those injured and their families, just not the sloganeering that goes along with some of it. Interestingly I know a couple of ex-squaddies who served in the first Gulf War who feel the same. So, wear it if you want to, but please don't try and make people feel bad for not joining in.

I will type it slowly for you, I said, it could just as well be an idiot, or a rightwing group...hope typing that slower helped you...

There are 200 documented attacks on muslims since this sad event. Im fairly certain I said 200...never 500....10 mosques have been attacked, there have been threats to many more.
There have been individual attacks, and attacks on property.

Really, i already put up a link that stated this was untrue, it seems the body (government funded) who made these statements, duly reported by the media, were telling a few.

"Muslim hate monitor to lose backing
Ministers end funding for body that claimed 'wave of attacks’ against Islam.
The project, called Tell Mama, claimed that there had been a “sustained wave of attacks and intimidation” against British Muslims after the killing of Drummer Lee Rigby, with 193 “Islamophobic incidents” reported to it, rising to 212 by last weekend.
Contrary to the group’s claim of a “cycle of violence” and a “sustained wave of attacks”, only 17 of the 212 incidents, 8 per cent, involved the physical targeting of people and there were no attacks on anyone serious enough to require medical treatment.
n mid-May, before Woolwich, one Jewish activist, Ambrosine Chetrit, received a threatening letter from solicitors after she tweeted that “Tell Mama are sitting on Twitter on the EDL hashtag, threatening anyone and everyone whose comments they do not like about Islam”.

I'm only guessing but I suspect Harness and Humphries are not muslims in disguise.

As for what the actual figures are, I suspect no one knows for sure but this gives some indication: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0At6CC4x_yBnMdENNendseHZTNFpnNnFzM0xIM3RGTlE#gid=0

I agree with you that "Afghanistan is one that I don't support politically" quote:. I wish our troops had never been sent there. The Afghans have been killing each other for years, muslim sect against muslim sect. People in this country are always demonstrating against our troops being there, many non muslims standing alongside the radicals to vent their anger, so pull the troops out and let them get on with it.
A soldier driving a lorry supplying fuel gets about half of the pay of a tanker driver delivering oil in this country, Drummer Rigby earned about two thirds of the yearly income that the well known radical collects in benefits.
So i support the HFH, it is a job that i and many else would not do, thankfully i do not expect to lose limbs doing my job.
You are correct though, it is a matter of choice if you want to wear stuff supporting HFH, a choice that probably would not be allowed in some countries eh.

Not yet Dave, but then it was a few days after your claims that the ISLAM was sprayed on Bomber Command by the right wing idiots, that 200 "attacks" on Muslims after Drummer Rigby....so it does take a few days for the truth to come out eh. Be patient, i't might get leaked in the press somewhere.

Dave, you have made a few accusations on this thread, they were put to bed by media reports. The only person spreading rumours is you, as has been proved. Psst you said EDL idiots and right wing groups.
As i stated, be patient and IF the story is true, i shall furnish you with the appropriate details by a couple of news links, as before.
I'm afraid " I realise you need to attack after spreading" many rumours.

"Part of the problem" Quote:
The problem is you post pieces that are easily disputed and found out to be untrue.

Let's wait before you start posting agitating and stirring posts like this eh.

So 1 attack on a mosque, not 10 or 12 as reported.
Your second link shows figures from last year 2012.
" Other figures, collected by the police, show that hate crime in mainly Muslim areas has fallen in the past 10 years. The only large force that collects figures on specifically anti-Muslim crime, the Metropolitan Police, reported an 8.5 per cent fall in such crimes between 2009 and 2012.

There was a spike in anti-Muslim incidents after the killing of Drummer Rigby. However, contrary to Tell Mama’s claims that it was “unprecedented”, the Met’s assistant commissioner, Cressida Dick, told MPs last week that it was “slightly less” than after previous terror attacks."
