What the f*** is going on with that sqaud? 4 strikers, 2 injured, 1 a good sub to cause some bother and the other hasn't played in the premiership. Genius.

wherever the money is
I still can not believe that the Swedish twat picked Hargreaves, Campbell and Walcott for the world cup. He is having a f***ing laugh.

Campbell has been out most of the season and shit when he has played. Yes he used to be a great player but has not done anything that has justified selection above King. I know King is injured but can be replaced if not fit in time.

SWP should have gone instead of Hargreaves who offers us nothing
Walcott ? not even good enough for a bench spot in Arsenal's French world cup squad. Wow, he has scored for the reserves. If that is the case Lee Barnard should be in there. Why no Defoe or Bent or evn Fowler above someone who has not kicked a ball in the prem.

Also AJ on standby. WTF is all that about?

Owen Hargreaves........how does he consistently make squads i don't think i have ever seen such a shit international player:angry: :tosser: .

because he plays regular club football at the top level for one of the better sides in europe . .just in a different country.

just because he's not in the sun everyday behaving like a twat doesnt mean he's not good, look outside your own back yard for once  anyone would think your American FFS

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Crouch  Upturn in Liverpools fortunes. Positive play for England, has always done well for us in his caps so far.

Walcott - Dynamite. Unknown quantity on international scene. Could be an excellent choice.

Owen - Should be fit

No Fowler??

Hargreaves - good season for Bayern, but has he done anything for England?

crouch=oh my god

owen hargreaves=WTF?
:nono:

Crouch - ''Crouch’s five appearances for England have ended with five wins. The team has scored 10 goals in the 231 minutes (less than 2Å matches of playing time) he has spent on the field. His beneficial effect on Michael Owen, who has scored five times in 180 minutes operating alongside the big chap, is striking.

At home against Poland, Crouch came on with 23 minutes remaining and the score went from 1-1 to 2-1; against Argentina in Geneva, his 10 minutes as a substitute saw England go from 2-1 down to 3-2 winners; his last appearance was 25 minutes against Uruguay, during which he scored and helped turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win.

On statistics alone, there should be little debate about whom Sven-Göran Eriksson should pick instead of Rooney — unless you want to argue that Crouch’s impact coming off the bench is so extraordinary that it would be a pity to lose him as an “impact sub”.

Owen Hargreaves - just completed a season for Bayern Munich in which they won the double. Can play acrosst he midfield and would fit into every team inthe premiership with the possible excpetion of Chelsea.

The squad is total shite:

4 strikers, two of whom are crocked and one is 17 years old and untried and the fourth is an on-loan giraffe from Chester Zoo

Hargreaves is League 1 standard, Jenas is out of form ..... and as for Andy Johnson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So on that basis why no: Defoe, Ledley King, Shaun Wright Phillips or even Richardson????

Walcott's Championship record:

13 (+8) appearances, 4 goals

Walcott's Premiership record:

0 (+0) appearances, 0 goals

The inclusion of such a player in a World Cup squad is absolutely astonishing.

Yeah, because 6 months training with NO top flight games can make you world class. :shootself
At least Bent should be on the reserve list, he's been far better than Johnson or Defoe.

That's not a very nice thing to say. Have you read the quote from the times with the stats of Crouch's England appearances or am I going to have to post it again?

Oh alright, just for you..

''Crouch’s five appearances for England have ended with five wins. The team has scored 10 goals in the 231 minutes (less than 2Å matches of playing time) he has spent on the field. Still not convinced about Jenas at International level. I had hoped he might have missed out!

I agree that Walcott is a good gamble ... but only if you have 3 other fully fit strikers .....

Crouch has proved his worth in a position where we have very very little of quality, every other pretender to a forward position has been SHIT when played, at least Crouch has turned games. I cannot believe the stick he gets for not looking like a footballer, he has been a nailed on certainty for a couple of months now.
