War in Middle East - part XXVVVII

Catholicism was just a sect of Judaism though.

Yes, a very sensible point from Wikipedia.

How is Catholicism, which is part of Christianity be a sect of Judaism?

Yet again you are wrong I have not said in any posts on this thread that Israel does not have the right to exist as a sovereign independent state.

A Zionist is a supporter of Zionism, and from reading your posts I think you fit the OED definition of what a supporter of Zionism is:

Zionism
/ziniz’m/

• noun a movement for the development and protection of a Jewish nation in Israel.

— DERIVATIVES Zionist noun & adjective.

So for you Zionist means jew. Well done you have revealed your ignorance and bigotry in one sentence.

Says the person who used to have "internet racist of the year" as their signature?

How am I bigotted for telling you I am Roman Catholic and for telling you I have explained what I think a Zionist is. I even put down the Oxford English Dictionary definition of what Zionism is, my original post about Zionism is above.

Jesus was from a line of prophets Muhummad being the last. I think. Not really up on Islam I'm afraid

But he was the king of the jews?

Even now when the Iranian president speaks the word "jesus" he always says "god bless his soul"

Not Jewish, not Israeli, but I will beat the f*** out of you at Withdean.
South stand block D is where I sit.

Woops......I am sure that you never go to the games, because you spend all your time on this site spouting off inaccurate information you sad little nimby from Withdean.

Piss off to your Arab loving country and then your views will change as there is no democracy or free thinking within most of them

Typical, debate not going your way?, people not blindly accepting what you say as the truth? just threaten to beat the f*** out of someone.
Now I can see why you find Israels actions acceptable.

The Book of Matthew refers to the Magi calling him 'The King of the Jews', but other than that, there is no reference to that phrase.

In Islam, Jesus is considered one of God's important prophets, a bringer of scripture, and a worker of miracles. Jesus is also called "Messiah", but Islam does not teach that he was divine. Islam denies the death and resurrection of Jesus, believing instead that he ascended bodily to heaven.

Islam is the attempted aggrogation of other faiths

Jesus is mentioned only 3 or 4 times in the koran and importance is only in linkage. Muslims beleive that jesus was not crucified as god would not kill a profit and the crucifiction was a deception by god. Beleiving that jesus is a profit is blasphamey to christians who beleive he is a Messiah, son of god rather than chosen of god. And in turn teaching that jesus is the messiah is blasphemy to muslims.

Muslims will often site the sermon of the mount, were jesus said there would be one more profit to follow. But ignore the Cantation of christ when he was asked how they would recognise the last profit.

"Beware of false prophits for they are wolves in sheeps clothing and by their fruits shall you know them".

Shia muslims reference jesus when they speak as the messenger(i think its jesus), the one who proclaims the final prophit who they think is mohammed.

A bit like cross worshippers say the father and the son and halibut ghost, they just incant the last two prophets as they see it.

A bit like Bush ending a speech with "in the name of our lord", except he doesn't but the Iranians do.

I dont know where the Halibut comes into it.

Ok so could you explain what movement I belong to rather than as an individual expressing my opinion?

And if it coincides with some of the objectives of zionism why cant I refer to you as an islamist because of your support for hamas?

Looney, what is your opinion of the Iran issue? It's quite clear Iran is funding and equipping Hamas. This is some sort of proxy war between the US and Iran.

If Iran acquires nuclear weapons then God help Israel and the rest of the world. No other Arab countries wants Iran to become so powerful and I think they know Israel is their only hope for this not to happen.

Here is some more mention of the King of the Jews:

No I can't explain what movement you belong to because I don't know you, therefore I only have the option of seeing what you write as an individual expressing their opinion. From what you have written it seems to me you have pro-Zionist stance about Israel.

How in this debate have you managed to get that I support Hamas? I have not once said anything to support that viewpoint.
I will reiterate what I said in post 319 on this thread "Yet again you are wrong I have not said in any posts on this thread that Israel does not have the right to exist as a sovereign independent state"
This I believe too, Israel has the right to exist, so for me to beleive that how can I support Hamas?

In Judaism the Messiah is the bringer of God, not the Divine himself. As we do not live in a world of milk and honey, Jesus is therefore not the Messiah to Jews.

What are you pair of f***ing idiots on? Israel is leafletting civilians to leave areas, its trying to avoid civilian casualties, wereas Hamas will just target anyone they consider a Jew.

Isn't it your bed time yet?

Sorry Looney, silly me, if only I had realised. Is all Israel needs to do is drop a few leaflets, and that makes the relentless bombing of civilians OK? So by your own standards, all Hamas need to do is leaflet the area in southern Israel that they are sending rockets toward telling civilians to leave the area and even Looney would then find the attacks acceptable.

The most stupid thing is that I dont think all this will make any difference. Israel wont want to become embroiled in another war of occupation in Gaza with the stream of body bags that will create and yet they must know that as they pull back across the border they will be followed by Hamas missiles. Worse still, if there was anothr election in Gaza tomorrow, Hamas would probably increase it's majority as they are now seen as the only ones with the balls to stand up the the neighbourhood bully.

Fair play to you and hope you enjoy the day.I support Israel 100%.We cannot give into Terrorists who think violence is the answer to everything.
The same when Islamic fascists capture hostages and threaten to behead them unless occupying forces pull out.The world problems and atrocities are caused by muslims. That old chestnut about Israel nicking land is wearing thin now.60 years of violence and the terrorist sympathisers from the left bridgade on here get on my tits.

Peace to Israel.
algie mate, you are revealing a titanic lack of knowledge about the creation of israel and the methods used.
