I take the view that the tories have no intention of letting Boris fight the next election but are sitting and waiting before deciding who they get behind.

With Sunak their best chance of electoral success also floundering (incredible coincidence in the timing) their hand may be forced, but the lack of an obvious replacement which works for the 1922 committee and has a chance of being elected means I reckon they will be very tempted to string this out longer.

A lot of people need to take a long, hard look at themselves and accept they swallowed the lies fed to them by this utter charlatan.

It was awful to see a number of decent Tories ousted, but one reason that Johnson won such a large majority was because the thought of Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott etc. in charge of the country was for many,just too awful to contemplate.
I am sure that if Labour had a leadership that was more acceptable to the electorate, the majority would have nothing like 80 odd seats.
