think i would rather be too cold than too hot, cause its easier to warm yourself up than it is to cool yourself down

Rather have it 'too' hot than the nine month Winter that's just finished

Sorry have to disagree, my dogs and I would much rather have cold, snow and ice even better. Am seriously contemplating getting one of those single room air units, does anyone know if they are any good?

Agreed. I don't do hot. Pity really as Mrs P doesn't do cold. My ideal holiday would be touring the Norwegian Fijords or something, and hers would be lying on a beach in The Bahamas.

And it's definately too hot today for my hangover

Went to Prague in March, a foot of snow, was great. Got back from there again yesterday morning and it was about 30 degrees, too hot. Although to be fair had much much better time this time

My youngest is just walking round panting, keep giving him ice cubes, that seems to help for a bit. Tried those cooling tablets last year, but they didn't seem to do anything. Or try some ice cubes in his water bowl

Yeah, should say my dogs are my kids, bloody pets really get to you, had to bury my cat on Tuesday, some :censored: :censored: run him over, and left him on my wheely bin, the really annoying thing is that whoever done it knew he was ours and didn't say anything, leaving to take the dogs for a walk at 5 in the morning and being greated by that site was not the best way to start the day. So yes have kids although they're my dogs

Condolences about your cat kaz, there are some spineless bastards out there, probably wouldn't have made it any easier if the person who did it had owned up but it would have been the manly thing to do.

Cheers for that, thats entirely the point, to be honest it was always going to be the way he went, and understand accidents happen, what annoyed me is that whoever done it, stopped the car picked up the catcovering him/herself in blood and putting it on my dustbin. Know it was early in the morning, because I only let him out at 3, then was up again just before 5. Just really got to me that they couldn't even be bothered to put a note through the door even if they didn't want to own up

I grew up on a fairly busy road, we had a cat for all the time that I lived there, he had the sense not to go out on the road at all although he did chase another cat out there which sadly used up any of its remaining nine lives, he stopped at the hedge. My brother did the decent thing, picked the cat up and returned it to its owner to explain what had happened, the exchange of words between him and the old lady is worthy of a Monty Python sketch, but hardly appropriate on this thread.
