trott played a shocking shot and gifted his wicket away

He played a reasonable shot, to the ball he THOUGHT he was getting mark. It bounced on him a bit more than he was allowing for, and it made him look a bit silly.

Trott really is class. He's the only batsman we have with the intelligence and technique to play every single situation he can possibly find himself in. I dread to think how vulnerable this line-up would be without him.

Yes I did want Finn in for this one.

I just feel Cook is still a bit too conservative.
