Its a shame really, that Michael Clarke seems a thoroughly decent bloke. Always very generous and gracious in defeat.

I'd find the spankings being dished out, even MORE fantastic, if their captain was somebody more unlikeable.

Steve McGoffin - Sussex's Australian seamer who has proved very adept in English conditions in his 18 months here. I'd be tempted to agree but I think seam bowling is the only areas they are pretty strong in.

James Taylor will play for Sussex against the Australians starting tomorrow. I think a score would put him first in line to replace Pietersen if he doesn't make Old Trafford. It will be good to see him get a go against a slightly friendlier attack than the South African's he made his debut against.
