So I've been mostly avoiding this thread and news in general for about a week. But today, this is a least a glimmer that something is still good in the world:

What’s next for InfoWars remains a live issue. The excess funds initially allocated for the purchase will be reinvested into our philanthropic efforts that include business school scholarships for promising cult leaders, a charity that donates elections to at-risk third world dictators, and a new pro bono program pairing orphans with stable factory jobs at no cost to the factories.

Trump is surrounding himself with brown tongues. I bet all those Arab Americans who voted for him are now regretting it as it looks increasingly likely that Israel will annexe the West Bank and Gaza as a Republican brokered peace settlement,

I doubt a lot of people will care. It was clear that these people only look out for themselves – their own country at a push – so why should they *really* give a toss about what happens elsewhere?

The orange man-baby thinks he will be omnipotent once he occupies the White House in January. Millions are only interested in seeing grocery prices fall and tax cuts.

Which they quite possibly won't get...

causing quite a lot of consternation and confusion, beyond eyebrow raising. apparently unpopular and seen as impossible to get confirmed, looks like some sort of battle set up with the Republican Party in the Senate. or some 4d chess, though Trump isn't known for that.

How does that work? Palestinians won't agree to it, there'd be no long term peace.

The solution is 2 states, with Israel getting what they were given at the start, and Palestine getting, er, Palestine.

The grim reality is it works through Israeli military might, persecution and possibly deportation. Israel has already shown how little it values Palestinians as people so I doubt they’d think twice about doing it, while Trump helps keep them out of The Hague.

Not sure what they are upset about. They seem to be complaining about things like him being incompetent for the job, a person of moral turpitude, has been under investigation for various offences, sexual misconduct and other ethical breaches.

But given they have just supported and elected a President with just those same characteristics, it seems to be odd to now complain?

Yes they'd try and do it, but that doesn't make it work, and Trump won't be here forever.

So Trump already looking to circumnavigate the senate to appoint ambassadors, other public ministers, consuls and judges of the Supreme Court.

This is only the beginning of authoritarianism, people can't say they weren't warned
