What was that bit this morning about Russia's refusal of Witkopf (sp?) to be part of the negotiating team?? So Russia will determine everything, terms, people, location... everything is cool and normal 🤷🏼‍♂️.
Seriously though, anyone read an update on Witkopf.

I haven't read anything on Witkoff. Well, apart from the fact he had no experience in international diplomacy, but was a real estate buddy of Trump.
(It's not what you know; it's who you know).

I remember that the Russians decided they had a veto on Kellogg. Apparently, this was why he was sidelined.

I'm 'enjoying' this video . Francis Farrell is a photojournalist working for the Kyiv Independent. After the intros, he reminds us of a few very key things:
- if Russia had not been stopped by Ukraine, it's very likely they would already be in or attacking the Baltics and Moldova...testing in the maximum way (what's turning out to be) a very fragile NATO.
,- Europe/NATO is currently totally unprepared to fight this new type of drone warfare. The only country in Europe that has the expertise to do it is Ukraine, so how about Europe fully helps Ukraine to win and so keep that expertise.

This raises a concerning possibility…when the Russians talk about annexing the Donbas, does Wankoff think it’s about building another bit on the side?

Hang on, if Putin says the ceasefire must "eliminate the root causes of the crisis" is he volunteering to chuck himself out of a window?
Which makes you wonder whether T**** would actually consider taking out Pootin as the cheaper and more effective way of achieving peace.

I mean, the answer is almost certainly no, but it might have occurred to him at some point.

Witkoff, a property developer and buddy of Trump’s from the golf course. I suspect he is not the one to have in negotiating world peace.

Putin will only accept a ceasefire once he has achieved the objectives or at least, the vast majority of them of his war.

There is only one way to deal with a bully. Perhaps Trump and his golf buddy should watch the Back To The Future films to see how to deal with one (who appears to be based on the bunglecuxt himself).

This really pisses me off. Donbass isn't "full of Russians". They're Ukrainians who because of proximity to Russia, speak Russian as first langauge, but who will nearly all speak Ukrainian too. There were some ethnic Russians as there are some ethnic French in Sussex, but Donbass isn't full of Russians, or it wasn't before ethnic cleansing and forced russification.
