As Zelensky makes his way home, he may be replaying it in his mind, and asking himself if he could have done better.

But I don't believe there is anything he could have done that would have changed the outcome. That was an ambush. Nailed on.
He's meant to be having an interview with Fox News later.... I really hope he still does that.

You can’t tell me nobody in the Pentagon is watching this and thinking “we’ve got to step in here”.

Or Langley.

Or indeed up the road at 935 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I just watched in draw dropping disbelief. And my first instincts are seemingly widely conveyed on twitter.

JD Vance is a f***king tw*t and he alone was the culprit. Zelensky carried the weight of his nation, he stood up for, politely but firmly for the truth about the reality of Putin and his breaking of all agreements, then Vance ambushed him, humiliated him and pushed all of Trumps buttons.

Zelenskyy was still trying to simply answer the BS of Vance, politely and they both harangued him, saying he's not grateful enough.... grateful for US over inflating the value of its weapons supplies and demanding minerals to pay it back.

And Zelensky was right, that maybe the US will feel it back one day, which Trump took such offence against..... If Putin gets Ukraine, he will go for baltics. And when he does its article 5.

One of the most significant news events of our lifetimes and caused entirely by Elon Musks VP plant.
We need to remember that Vance knows a lot about the war because when Zelensky asked if he’d been to Ukraine he mumbled something along the lines that he’d “read a lot” about it.

Time for all European nations to form its own defensive alliance and cut the yanks out. Trade deal or not, I’d look to reduce our reliance of US imports and exports until they can behave themselves, and make us more self reliant as a nation. We need to produce more stuff ourselves for our own consumption. I’d also get back into the EC after being hoodwinked by the Tories.

The world's media are going to be crawling all over this. They will look at the whole sequence, and the tsunami of anti-Ukraine comments that immediately followed.
Just watched the disgusting flip flopping rat Lindsay Graham, whose been to Kyiv multiple times, now saying that Zelenskyy was to blame, he was disrespectful, is a poor business partner, that he should resign and calling for a new Ukrainian leader, praising Trump and Vance for sticking up for America blah blah blah.

Anyway, Zelenskyy is doing interview on Fox tonight with Brett Baier at 6pm eastern time, i think thats 11pm here.

Got to say was exactly what was neeeded from trump . Russia have dominated and hold what they set out too. Could get way worse for Ukraine the moment Russia decide . Does that guy want to save lives

Trump is a nob but he is strong . If only other leaders said it how it is

Expect a media backlash from the easily offended tomorrow

I hope Zelensky's WhatsApps are going mental from other leaders of countries saying 'Don't worry mate, we'll help you out & get it sorted that way'.

Disgusting behaviour from Trump and Vance I was half expecting them to demand Zelensky to lick their shoes whilst saying 'Thank You' over and over.
Fu*king w**kers, is it normal for the VP to be there piping up? Or is he there to try & stop Trump sounding like he doesn't know what day of the week it is? C**ts.

Well, I had to watch it. All I can say is...well done Zelenskiy for standing up to two complete arseholes. Unbelievable, they wanted to say all their shit and still have Zelenskiy say nothing, except thank you (again and again) and kiss their feet.
Lead by Vance, I hope he falls out of a window when he visits Russia.
The US administration showed it's true colours live on TV - I guess they didn't want a mineral deal that much.
Zelenskiy is 100 times the man that those two will ever be.

The only silver lining here is that Zelenskys gotten out without signing away the family silver to the devil. And if that's needed in a deal, fair one, as collateral with Europe to support some kind of security guarantee then so be it. If that's possible.

Strength in numbers from Trump and Vance (so brave inside the White House) to overwhelm Zelenskiy.
I haven't figured out why they did that? Just Vance sucking up to Trump and it got out of control? Or to destroy the deal and please Putin?
I have no effing idea. Fxck em both.

It does make you wonder. If Trump was assassinated tomorrow I doubt they’d know where to start, there are motives all over the place.
